Edelweiss Air offers a good service in Economy Class. So is it worth to upgrade to Economy Max / Premium Economy? On my flight WK 32 from Zurich to Havana I had the chance to test the Edelweiss Air Economy Max on an Airbus A330-300. This is a review of my experience. I hope it will help you to decide whether Economy Max / Premium Economy of Edelweiss Air is worth the experience. The flight took place on November 30, 2017.

Sadly there is no direct flight to Maldives (Malé International Airport) with Swiss, so you have to go with Edelweiss, that's why I hope they will upgrade their Premium Economy

Nowadays you don’t get an amenity kit. The dinner is often a horrible risotto and the second meal far not as good as the one in the movie. The price is actually extremly high compared to Iberia to Havanna and ther you have a real premium economy with a far better seat. But the video is great!

For long haul flights, the separate area and slightly bigger space and amenity kit makes it worth it IMO. I have been offered the upgrade for my international flight and this helped me decide to go for it.

Now SWISS has finally introduced it in their first Boeing 777. And it looks great! I am looking forward to experience it myself! ✈

When flying east and southbound i never use an european carrier. I always use turkish airlines, qatar or emirates because they are simply the best and are even cheaper. When flying westbound i dont have many choices so sometimes i may end up on edelweiss. They are ok but definitely nothing in comparison to middle eastern airlines.
