employment is certainly not the aim of education but today's commercialized society has forced us to think it that way... it forces us into taking higher education only to get good jobs and juicy packages.. and sadly this thing is more seen in our country than in other countries... in britain or germany or usa they focus more on educating themselves for betterment of the society and fellow human beings.. they are more concerned with research which according to me should be the aim of education good education is necessary for getting good employment but it is not the other way round

education should make one think, not follow blindly what others have done...

I think employment is not the only aim of education but I strongly believed that it is the part of education and according to my philosophy I would like to say that the main aim of education should be the implication of our knowledge for development of our society .....

The person who is financially sound can speak like anything. But in India there is no livelihood even after good education . Then the ultimate goal is job.

Education should develop the critical thinking ability of people, to enlighten them, enable to debate ideas, which would lead to a better understanding, a better analysis of social, economic and political issues in the world. This is how education started! From the days of the Philosophers like Aristotle and Socrates; they questioned the norms that existed at the time, making way for new thought (democracy). Education for monetary gain is similar to training students to be greedy bastards like the ones on wall street.

In short, education is the harmonies development of the physical, mental and spiritual growth. Employment depends on our capability but parents should focus not on jobs but to educate their wards in order that they can face the challenge of life.

Education is important but you have two options after education one is job and second is buil a empire or work on yourself for your business ...for society view point every one wants job some people want to do business thats tha the big difference between society and you first you have to focus what you want then go for that no matter how hard it will..

Yes, I would say that if I acquire education so I should get job end of the day and only after that I will have able to recognize my self esteem and social responsibility of doing some innovative.but India is a developing country and here a lot of things left to do.this is right our mostly population are acquire education for livelihood but we should learn them that many other occupation exit that they do through education like music,arctitecture,actor, comedian, motivational speaker,you tuber,player,organic farmer,mediator,2nd hand shopkeeper, conservation monumenter and a lot of things which he can do.

God,the amount of redundancy in this video is infinite. Yup,Education is beyond any sholarly pursuits and above all is well-rounded.

Education nowadays higher competition in Studying Medicine without understanding their children interest. There are so many branches in graduate and post graduate level.

Really education system is very bad in India, Government must invest much more on quality education. It's really necessary.

Developing countries like India where basic mass is looking for employment oriented education is a strong point.

If you get the enough property or you inherit something from your father or ancestors then i may not need to think in the way like education would return something but if i dont have anything ,if i am not given any property to live my basics then i have to look in the same way, education would return....There's no life without money but you cant just compare life and money at the same time.

I will agree with both of your thoughts,but actually the reality is completety different, Most of the MNCs are giving jobs through reference only!, then how about the common people, who are from poor background? Even though they have a good knowledge and skills!

Hi Hitesh.. as a teacher, i absolutely agree with what u said..im also tryng to develop d same in our college but.. here d situation is different.. now a days most of the approved colleges in r country is in such way that everyone will think of their own profit.. no one bothers about overall personality development of a student who can change the face of the country in evry aspect.

No education is not d only aim to get employment ... infact employment is a part of education.. bcos education is d only way through which we can change d society not d mind of people but also to discover owrself....so education is not d only motive to get employed...this is something that we can give our nation as return

Amit... 140 cr log hai India me. Sab educate ho kar social cause me involve ho jayenge to parivar kaun palege. There has to be a balance in production based entrepreneurship, service based entrepreneurship, social entrepreneurship, and pure job skills. All people cannot enterprenur, and all cannot be on job. Unfortunately, our education is purely focusing on producing workers for services. We have to bring occupational subjects early in education like after 5th standard. One school cannot have all occupational based education. So we can have polytechnic kind of setup introduced not after 10&12 but from 6th.

Nothing will happen unless we put control this huge difference uneducated population shut down the university's college that produce this many numbers of unemployable youth it's a shame . Employment will only be Generated if India becomes manufacturing hub and not just a consumer

Education in India seems to inculcate desh bhakthi through learning hindi by nonhindi people . Other wise how can they become patriotic ? That seems to be the attitude of hindi chauvinists .!

Job should be one reason for education But shouldn't be only one reason for education...... Karm karo,..fal bhagwan pe chor do.... In the end of the day both are right.... Grab the education first ( magnet) .....and make eligible yourself,...and than job will automatically come in your hand( magnet ll attract the iron) After having job money ll also come and after having money girl ll also come......
