Great video Chris! Thanks for putting enduro in the spotlight. Given the current state of enduro and hard enduro its great to see more street, track, and MX focused folk dipping their toes in the water.
Chris, i think you should try your hand at American flat track!!! With your experience riding everything and love of sliding a bike, you would pick it up quickly and be very good at it!! And most importantly, have a blast!!! The Springfield Mile is calling man!!! Thanks for the videos, greatly appreciated
Did Neil twist your arm to ride a enduro? You definitely jumped in at the deep end, I rode for many years in SEEC but going to Wales for 2 day BEC or Welsh championship are just the best events. British enduro should get more recognition as we have multiple world champions and in 2022 we won the 6days in both Mens and Womens and were 3rd or 4th in the juniors.
Fair play Chris, you did a great job at your first British Championship Enduro - they are not easy thats for sure especially on a 450 (maybe swap it for a 250 for your next event if possible). Great to see some Enduro coverage from a Clubmans' perspective too, makes you appreciate the skill of the Championship riders. Well done, look forward to seeing you ride a British Sprint & Hare 'n Hounds maybe - you'll love those Im sure👌😉👍👍
So cool to see you race a BEC Chris. I used to race motocross and enduro, stopped a few years ago and passed my motorcycle test last September! Your bike skills are amazing 👏🏻
Awesome! I was green laning & doing pay&play days then started doing some enduros back around 2016 well into my 40’s - the first one I did was over 4 hours and man did it destroy us ! 😂🤣 did them for a few years but none since covid - think I’m too old now ! Loved watching though ! 😂
Yes, Enduro is a lot of fun. We used to do rides like the 5 days Alto Turia in Spain, but i think they stopped that event. But those types of events are perfect for starters in the world of Enduro. Several days with many riders of different classes.
I packed in road racing in 2012 and as I did motox as training I thought I do enduro. What a sport, It’s hard as hell! I loved it but the gap to the top lads was huge . I remember in a deep rutted section, going well, David Knight came past me on the back wheel and then hopped from one rut to another, before clearing off. I was like okay, I’m shit!
Look forward to the video on ‘beginners’ enduro, not that I’m going to try it! Off-road stuff is where the most fun is, for me. Still looking for a video on building/prepping your wife’s little LDT bike. Please! Les
I'm an English teacher in Spain. I have a 10 y.o. student who competes in the Spanish National championship... for 14 y.o.s. He currently lies 3rd. I agree that enduro is criminally under-reported, but it is the same the world over.
Looks like you’re standing most of it I remember watching graham jarvis train a few people mossy being one telling people to sit down you aren’t on a adv bike anymore
