Brilliant video. My father was manager of the co-op butchers in Longton on the 1950's when it was a bustling prosperous and confident town. Such a pity to see it like this.

Great channel and content! Too much of our local history is being destroyed and replaced with generic shops and buildings that all look the same wherever you live. I did the hand-painted, curved brickwork sign work on the corner of the America Hotel for Core around 15 years ago or more.

Such a great video. I agree these buildings need to be saved, imagine if we had some local billionaires that could give back to the local area... (Caldwell, Bamford or Coates)
