On this episode of Death By, Lauren Kalil and the contestants discuss if Europe is the new capital of CrossFit, what CrossFit should do if there's an injury on the competition floor, and whether the tides are shifting from veterans to rookies. In two bonus rounds, each contestant gave who their biggest weekend winner was and discussed the impact of not reseeding the field before the final event.
Our contestants include Matt O'Keefe, Justin Cotler, and Chase Ingraham.

The difference is, in Europe it isn’t difficult for people to travel to get there. You can be in an entirely different country in a couple of hours. I can’t even get out of my state in that time.

the crowd was wild in France but this is part of our mentality, have you ever been to a football/Soccer game? That was the mentality in the venue. Throw this Semi or even the Games to Itally Spain, Germany Portugal or where ever, the Fans will sing! It's simply how we are!

Rogue is probably the test. Rogue has a facility in Europe. Now, Rogue is hosting an invitational event in Europe. HQ and Rogue can discuss and plan a Europe Games for 2025 or 2026 - my guess

Chase, seeing some people basically jumping down from the ceiling to gain seconds was scary. They weren't allowed to jump from Boxes but Jelle cliffdiving onto a concrete floor was fine? This is why the PFAA should have a say in these things - add a "controlled descent" marker and a) rope climbs actually "matter" for the men, b) Rebecca doesn't get injured and c) Jelle's joints still are ok in five years. Exaggerating for effect but I'm 90% serious.

With the elbow injury in Europe I believe the athlete mentioned she was told by CrossFit she had to make some attempts to do something like a strict RMU in order to be allowed back out into the floor.

The sport feels way more global in Europe, even than the games. Having the clusters of different countries really makes a difference. The games needs to come to Europe.
