I have my own two theories thought about life and Karma. 1. Think of it as a game of snakes and ladders, every outcome is predefined, but not every step. Based on the step you take (which is free will), your outcome will be (which is predefined). Every soul’s snakes and ladders game will be different. You get to play your own game in your own way in your given life, but you can’t control the outcome. And the difference here between life and the actual game is you just throw dice (which is you are relying on sheer luck) in the game, whereas in life your decision making is not only luck based but mostly based on your accumulated intellect. So, if you learn from your poor decisions, if you are willing to put more effort to progress spiritually and shun what maya is effecting you to make poor decisions, regardless of what hardships you face if you are willing to stay strong and continue no matter how many births you take, out of the innumerable probable paths in the game, you may find the one that will lead you to actual Vaikuntha. 2. Taking birth is like enrolling in a school, your prinicipal is the Supreme God/Goddess who just facilitates all classes and enrollments. It is up to you whether you want to learn this grade (this life) thoroughly and pass or fail, based on your efforts will be your outcome which is either going to next grade or demote or stay in the same. Now everybody’s resources, syllabus, teachers etc are unique. Another thing is, unfortunately or fortunately we arent alone in this game, all samastha koti jeevarasulu are playing it, so many a times your decisions and hence outcomes may be because of other’s actions. But, if you realise that all those samastha koti prani along with the facilitator is nothing but your own illusion and they are all the one, you will climb the big ladder and reach Vaikuntha. Why is karma passed on from one lifecycle to other ? When we take birth in new lifecycle we don't have any memory of last lifecycle. So why does last lifecycle's karma affect us in present lifecycle ? Why isn't everything settled in respective lifecycle & fresh start everytime ? Sounds little unfair. When a girl gets raped it is a painful event which I dont think any girl can forget. What will one tell or suggest to that girl that “Why” she got raped ? I am Hindu so should I suggest her that it is her past karma. How will she be able to reconcile with the sin she might have committed in past janama when she does not even remember anything and have not committed any such crime in this janama. We should feel sorry for her or should tell her that she is her own culprit ? I will not be able to tell her that this all is God’s play, just take a part in it as it will not be practical for her even to think it from this perspective. Why can't past life karna get dealt with in that life only why do we have to carry it in our next life? I have come back to this video and many other videos talking about Karma and Destiny after the RG Kar incident, which has disturbed all of us, including me. I am into spirituality since long time now and believe in the concept of Karma and karmic accounts. But since last few days I have been thinking even during my meditation session that is someone suffering such brutality is also karma!! In no way I can accept the fact that such heinous acts like Nirbhaya or R G Kar are also due to some karma, whether prarabdh or sanchit karma or whatever else, and if they are, then entire concept of karma by the Almighty creator is messed up.

I have a question- “your life is predestined” vs “how you’ll respond is in your hand”, I see an inherent contradiction. Eg: suppose a student,who is predestined to become a civil servant, but he engages himself in distraction. Here, how can we know what we’re predestined & if we don’t know how can we respond effectively?
Life until now is predestined. Whatever Karma you have created so far determines the life for this moment. In this very present moment you have the choice to respond in a way that changes your future. Past is already done. That created your present moment. How you respond to this present moment decides your future. Its all cause and effect. The only real moment is THE NOW. Example: Someone hits you. Thats an effect of something caused by you in the past. So you cannot do anything about it other than accepting. What you can do though is choosing how you respond to that situation. You can hit them back, you can do/say/ think nothing about it OR you can forgive and bless that person. All three choices are with you in this very moment which will create your future. ❤️ This is what I have realized.
Some one cant respond with free will if life is predestined. If life is predestined then there is no free will, which means you're not the doer of your own actions. So how can there be free will? How can there be karma? How can there be an individual soul doing anything? If life is already predestined then everything is one consciousness and everything is MAYA.

There are three types of karma: Sanchita Karma, which is the accumulated past karmas that are yet to be resolved; Prarabdha Karma, the portion of Sanchita Karma that is bearing fruit in this lifetime and thus is 'destined' to be experienced; and Agami Karma, the new karmas that we create in the present life that will influence our future. While Prarabdha Karma is often viewed as the 'destined' events that must be experienced, Agami Karma represents the actions and responses we take now, which shape our future experiences. Samskaras are the mental impressions, recollections, or psychological imprints left by our past actions. They can be thought of as tendencies or habits that influence our thoughts and behaviors. These samskaras are deeply embedded in our subconscious and play a significant role in shaping our responses to various situations. A person might be 'destined' to face certain situations due to their Prarabdha Karma, but how they respond to these situations is influenced by their samskaras and their conscious efforts. Understanding that our actions and responses are influenced by deep-seated samskaras is the first step. This awareness allows us to recognize patterns in our behavior and thought processes. Through practices like meditation, self-reflection, and mindfulness, a person can become more aware of their impulses and samskaras. This awareness creates a space between impulse and action, allowing for more conscious choices. By setting strong, positive intentions, individuals can gradually override their samskaras. This requires consistent effort and willpower, as the deeply ingrained habits take time to change. Every intentional action creates new samskaras. By repeatedly choosing actions that align with one's goals and values, a person can form new, positive samskaras that support their desired path. Some events and circumstances in life are the result of past karmas and must be experienced. Within these destined events, we have the free will to choose our responses. These choices are influenced by our samskaras but can be consciously directed through self-awareness and intentional action. Returning to the example of a student who is predestined to become a civil servant but is distracted, the key lies in recognizing and working with samskaras. The student may have a strong samskara for distraction, but by becoming aware of this tendency and setting the intention to focus, they can create new, positive samskaras. Through disciplined practice, the student can override their old samskaras and align their actions with their goal of becoming a civil servant. Thus, while certain aspects of life may be predestined, our conscious responses and efforts play a crucial role in shaping our destiny, demonstrating that both karma and free will coexist and influence our life’s journey. Wow very well explained, but jealousy is not there, but non stop the person who achieved something constantly comes to you and talks about his/her achievements and pulls you down in a smart way in his /her communication skills. Then automatically it gets stored in the mind and gives anxiety and jealousy. And when I try to keep my distance and be in my own world then I get an introvert, not mingling with people wala tag.

I think we can feel drawn to certain people due to past karma - but we always have a choice in this life. If we are not evolved as a soul we will blindly follow our tendencies and in that sense, yes, marriages can be predetermined. But if you start evolving and exercising your choice then you can move past karmic relationships.

And even after giving so many chances..still they behaved the same way..and I chose to block them completely from my life (Physically, mentally, emotionally) I don't have any bad thoughts about them.. All these 'gurus' could be replaced by AI for all the difference it would make! And AI could instantly recite any and all 'scripture' ever put to paper better than any human! I think at this age you are considering this as a huge problem and asking for help abt this....but when some years apart when u would be facing a bigger problem than this (hope, that wouldn't come at all) you would be distracted from this current problem as this will not matter any more...life is like this only. Parents often do this things everytime, they have their own fears, insecurities too... Forgive them and keep doing your best karma

This is my understanding: As a soul we are a part of God, but God is much bigger than individual souls, like the ocean is much bigger than the drops of water. We can do our best effort and cause things to happen in our life due to our efforts - but ultimately the results are in the hands of God and things might not work out the way we hoped even if we do our best. We need to be humble and understand this - do our best and let go of the results of our actions - then we can find peace and comfort in the bliss of God.

could you please elaborate about detachment and creating a desired future without attachment or to say in other words as per the will of shakti, how to harness the energy. you have initiated a thought but could you please further help us explore and paint a picture through your words. I feel it is highly unfair to have this baggage of Karmas and not even know that what have done to deserve a life in constant struggle. The energy is depleted constantly in search of new or renewed paths to make life better yet just going around in circles, either through external restrictions or through family's ill support. A person is all lonely and frustrated if one does not have the capacity to sustain their basic needs. Sorry for such a long comment, writing with hope for some light or just wanted somewhere to write my thoughts.
Hoping for your reply , since 17 years I have no peace in my life one or other issue got married to an amazing man when I was 31 conceived naturally at 32 with twins but it was the most painful journey since day 1 and ended up with preterm delivery & lost both of my babies due to weak cervix ! Fast forward to 1 year conceived again but ended up with missed abortion Back to back urine infection Now my biological clock is ticking I no longer have strength to lead this shit life also no guts to kill myslef thinking I will carry the karma to next birth and suffer again So tell me sir I lost 2 precious pregnancy due to my past karma ? Has our lord Narayana given us free will? In mahabharata, Shri Krishna said he is everyone himself - including shakuni and duryodhan. Does free will exist, since everything happens with the Lord’s blessing?

How can we call something negative and positive as it's all perspective. For example, the lion's cub are hungry, so she'd kill the deer in order to feed her cubs for them to survive, so she did the right thing but on the other hand the family of deers lost a member for them the lioness did the bad thing. Same for every creature. The good and bad are the terms given by us according to our preferences and desires. And do you still think that the lioness had bad karma as she killed the deer and now nature will do bad to her. NO. It's the strongest or the cleverest who survives and everything happens according to our decisions. Just think of a moment in past and now imagine the decision you took, what if you did something else you'd be somewhere else. The future happens on the decisions made by people around us and ofcourse you. I don't think anything is destined for us to happen. It's us who have to make better decisions in order to make things work and to survive.

Each and everything from birth to death is predestined. Nothing is in our hands because each and every beings enter into this world with a preconditioned mind and will act according to all the situations and circumstances that too designed for each one. So when people come to one's life to fulfill certain karmas from past life, carries debts like blessings, curse, hatred, desires, revenge, love, fear etc, etc., that we don't remember. So one will respond to those pending karmas in a predetermined way because of the past impressions. Why because we are not free and freewill is just an illusion.
