With your problems with the mosquitoes, when you go out in the outdoors to go fishing or hunting, don't wear anything with any scent to it. No cologne, aftershave or perfume. Even some deodorants can attract mosquitoes and other flying insects. Just a thought from an old hunter and fisherman.

Omg, Amberly I heard the mosquitoes that were in the truck. I tend to get the most mosquito bites in a size group of people. I was outside on night and through my pants I ended up with 17 bites in one leg, 15 in the other and can't even remember many on my arms. The sunrise was absolutely beautiful. At least you caught a fish.

Avon Skin So Soft works great for mosquito bites. Learned that trick when I was stationed at Plattsburgh AFB in upstate NY in the 80's. Really enjoy your Vlogs.

It's easy to tell whos fishing by looking at the reels. Amberly's using a spinning reel while Austin is using a bait caster. I'd definitely be spraying myself down with some quality bug repellent for sure.

Looks like ya'll were right on the Gulf of Mexico... Salt water fishing is much more exciting IMO. Texas in the fall is known for salt water tournaments.

LOL! "See a man about a dog" is so old expression and means that you are excusing yourself from telling what you actually want to do or is going to do. I lived in Port Aransas for 20 years. Part of standard city maintenance was the mosquito spray truck that ran every night. Those little blood suckers are vicious in Texas! Our summer fragrance on the island was “eau de Off”.

Not sure about the fish being bigger but the mozzies are horrifying! 'See a man about a dog' is also used in the UK - certainly by my Dad who was also a keen angler.

The Texas mosquitos are truly insane and sneaky. You keep your door even a little cracked those crazy buggers just find their way in...and don't even get me started on the bites....they will itch for dayssss!!! Well, I hope you have better luck fishing next time you are here!
