This Video is dedicated to help you understand exactly how much time you could save by purchasing Universal Unlimited Express Pass. . . #expresspass #universalexpress #universalorlando
So true. I'm not even a HP fan, but the queue for Gringots is immaculate. I think it's worth standing in the regular line for the harry potter rides. For the rest, express it.
Thank you so much!! We just started our channel about 3 months ago so that could definitely have something to do with it! Hoping for a good year of growth! Thank you for your support 😊
Great coverage about express!! We usually can't fork out to buy unless we are staying at Express. We pay the price for HHN express but just try to work around the waits for a regular park day.
Awesome video for people who are trying to decide on purchasing an express pass…my family and i stay on property just to get the free express pass….PEOPLE, ITS WORTH IT! Especially during “busy months”. Anyway great vid❤
They make the estimated wait times more than what they say and on some rides there are a lot of cool stuff to see through the lines I would not want to miss. I went with my Granddaughter without express pass and we rode more than 8 rides and left early during spring break with longer estimated wait times.
We agree the queues are pretty cool and it’s worth waiting in line! Our experiment was only from 1pm to close so if we were riding all day, we probably would’ve gotten double the amount! We don’t think express passes are necessary to have a good time but they do seem to work in the way that they are advertised, just like we said in our final opinion at the end of the video 🤗
Can say that they are worth it 100 percent. Had them for one day and rode everything in both parks but Hagrids. Did that the next day. They were $300+ for that day but worth every penny.
Really great info and to the point content, really appreciate! One note, it would be better you looking at the camera like you're talking to me... it's weird watching you look to the side of the lens and not right at it. But again great content, i will be subscribing and checking out your other videos! Thank you!!
End of February! That would be a great time to go in our opinion. Anytime between the new year and spring break and between spring break and summer break!
Thank you so much! Such an amazing video, so helpful! I am going there mid May, do you think there would be a lot of people? I am going to for 2 Days. So I;m confused about the Express Pass. We are two people and idk if it would be feasible. I'm coming from India for this so!
If you haven’t already, book at a premier resort or book express waaaay in advance. This will save you lots of money. Premier hotels give you express as a perk for staying with them and you can use it in check in day all day even if your room isn’t ready AND all day even after check out.
I agree with one of the comments below which is Universal tends to “bloat” the line wait times….if you go during down times the wait is never that bad to warrant spending that extra money…just my opinion 🥰
Really wish your comparison was with 2 couples alternating express vs regular line with both couples entering at the same time. Everyone knows posted times are not correct.
@@ThemeTeam I get that, and riding single would put you in a different line altogether anyway. But having the direct comparison of couple vs couple for timing through would be really helpful, and more accurate. I have watched a lot of videos in the last month.. have not seen that direct comparison, something to think about 🙂
@@Zee-mu1zj oh!! We thought you meant the candy! It’s fish and chips from the 3 broom sticks! We will be doing a food video soon and covering the best foods we know of!
I haven't been to Universal in YEARS, like im 30 and haven't been since 12, lol. Im wondering if it's better for me to chill and experience the ride. You know, like as I wait, just look around the interior and all the things that were put into it. Get what I paid for. Just get there early perhaps and just chill or is it better to just get the pass?
We prefer doing it this way! Express passes are very worth it if you’re in a hurry to do everything but the queues are very well done so it’s nice to be able to slow down and see everything
to be honest it depends on the time of year you go so like summer and winter during school breaks absolutely during fall around like horror nights not so much
It's a catch 22, when the price is low you don't really need it, but when you really need it, the price is ridiculously high. You have to determine that sweet spot for yourself.
I’m not sure I would pay that much for express but I would and do stay at the top tier hotels where it’s free anyway. And I think that’s well worth it even with the higher room rates.
Thank you for acknowledging this, the wait times posted are incorrect. For Hogwarts Express specifically, it was posted as 20 minutes when we went, but it was actually an hour wait. The fact that you got on in half the time shows the pass is worth it. Hogwarts Express has the longest lines due to the slow loading process, which is why other park goers recommend people to just walk to the other park to save time... well if they don't have express and are not harry potter fans. For people out of town, Express is totally worth it, but people should stay in a premium hotel to get them. Side note: Velocicoaster is the best rollercoaster that I've been on.
I think express pass is worth it on those busy days. The wait time for Hogwarts express can be crazy. I have hopped right onto the Hogwarts express (within 15 minutes) when the normal wait was 120 minutes.
The hogsmeade station seems to be a much shorter wait than the king cross station in our experience! The express pass didn’t do us much good this trip on that particular ride but maybe there was a delay we weren’t aware of
If you’re going alone we highly recommend taking advantage of the single rider line! It’s typically much shorter than stand by line and you’ll save some cash!
Unfortunately, we have only been to one! Royal pacific. It is the least expensive of the 3 premier resorts. Portifino is said be very nice but I think a lot of folks prefer hard rock!
I stayed at the hard rock club level and got free unlimited express pass. I did the math. Staying at a cheaper hotel and buying that same express pass cost a whole lot more than what I spent for hotel and getting “ free “ express pass.
Wow 200 per person per day to ride 8 rides with the express pass??? So makes me not want to go to Universal. At disney we were doing 20-30 a day at about 150 per person per day with the genie plus. Granted you did not do a full day...
Genie is a good way to make the most of your trip! But that is correct, we did not do the full day as part of this experiment. We think the take away is we waited about half of the estimated wait time for stand by line with the express pass included in our stay at a premier hotel. So for anyone looking for a way to avoid the $200 per day fee, maybe try that way?
Express pass is a half scam. On most rides, it will get you to skip a third, or at best half of the regular line, then you are merged back with it. Obviously you gain some time, but dont expect at all to skip the whole queue. For the price it is a shame and not a good value at all. This is only really useful for two or three really popular rides. For the most popular one, Hagrid's motorbike, it isn't available.... Globally we weren't blown away by Unisersal, it is kind of aging and way overpriced. We enjoyed much more our day at Hollywood studios.
Universal is building what will be the biggest theme park in central Florida to open in 2025. With tons of new refurbs, experiences, attractions to come! Sorry you didn’t enjoy your trip!
Hard rock for 4 nights saves my family of 5 a minimum of 750 a day on the unlimited express. Some heavier days saves you even more. Sometimes unlimited passes are 300 each 1500 a day for family of 5. FREE at the premier hotels. Our rm is 550 a night plus a 35 dollar a night cot.🎉
This video has no comparison on real times you went when the park was empty I just went there and the wait times were 150 minutes plus now that’s a comparison video
Thanks for your input! This video was filmed while we were having a good time trying express pass for the first time. You’re welcome to buy express pass and on a day when wait times are 150 minutes but we certainly wouldn’t be able to put out that kind of cash ha!
