This is just me but I think that Fade is more of an quick entry intel agent. They both are Ini's but Sova is more of a precise and semi-slow push Ini. Fade is more of an hyper aggro Ini. If you want instant info on aggro entry, Fade is the perfect Ini in a fragging lineup.

imo fade does not replace sova cause they both have very differing uses. sova has a more passive kit compared to fade. fade’s kit is perfect for aggressive quick entries and recon. while sova is more of a defending type agent where he doesn’t really need to go aggressive. esp with post defuses he can just pop out his ult. fade’s recon is instant while sova’s need to scan. fade is such a great agent especially if you get more used to her. her prowler is great for clearing corners and catching enemies. not to mention how fun she is to play with. And a quick add, her recon can literally be in odd places (above walls, window) sova’s a great agent but personally I prefer fade by a long shot.

imo fade is insane. the amount of intel she has is crazy. im only D2 so i can only speak on my experiences up till now and she brings such a presence to the game. corner clearing, site intel, etc.

fades spot ability works from the top of roofs, as long as the head of it can see them, this especially works well on breeze

Actually the opposite, Sova doesn't have much util to help him fight, while Fade can literally throw 5 things at you and just swing you for a guaranteed kill. Plus the fact that Sova has 30 different lineups that are hard, and Fade can just basically chuck it wherever without needing any lineups because of how easy and accessible they made her E. I've literally had more reveals from putting the eye on random roofs in the last month, then in 2 years of maining Sova in Radiant. So far, tournament and pro play wise, Fade just seems better and easier then Sova, I'm guessing Sova buff coming next patch, to at least bring his drone back to a non useless state. That's the only piece of util that Sova could have an advantage on, if they bring back the duration, cause this way, one of Fades Q's reveals more then the drone, is less expensive AND also blinds the enemy.

My honest opinion I think fade can be good but like he said sova is better just as a whole but like realistically you can play any agent and they can be good. Like for me I main Cypher he may not be like the Meta pick but if I can set up and my aim isn't terrible like usual then I can really clutch rounds or even help my team with info

my 2 cents that no one asked: with the intro of fade the need to change sova's fade's and cypher's role to recon or scout cuase they do something completely different then k/o, skye, and breach. (i know cypher is a sent)

Fade is over powered in diamond and lower. Useless at diamond and higher. Ever since she came out I drop 20+ kills with her in diamond. Without issue.
