no, i can't really do a build video yet. i keep crashing and sitting in queue, so my build is far away from being ready. attribute points are 300 focus, 150 con and the rest in strength. smite, vortex and trip and passives take everything you feel is good, i haven't finalized my passives yet, there are so many good ones to pick and it depends on how you wanna play and if you are solo or in a group. i prefer medium armor, it can still be decently tanky, but doesn't get as much damage and healing reduction as heavy. heavy is fine though, i played that too. with heavy you might have to lean more into optimizing damage and healing tho.
haven't fleshed it out yet. things have changed from PTR to live and i have to reconsider a couple of things. but health is great, grit ward is great, you want at least a couple of freedom pieces and ultimately burdening smite and thwarting trip on the armor and mending vortex on the weapon would be good. another thing to consider is shirking heals this patch, it's very strong, so if that's your style, max out your shirking heals and boost it even more by being in light armor and running the ankh amulet. tons of options to be honest.
What are your attribute numbers? Do you have any in strength? Or just focus/con? I’m trying to stay light armor, so I might end up going with featherweight artifact and run a kite shield with full light gear. But I haven’t decided because I’m still leveling. I had to start a new character when the expansion launched I couldn’t get into my server. I just started playing in September like 2 weeks before the expansion. I got my first character to 60 the day before the exp, but like I said, now I’m level 53 on a new server.
@@MADshadowmanwhy use ankh though if you are healing? Doesn’t it cut your heals in half? When you heal yourself with an ability, like beacon for example, does that count as your outgoing healing or does that count as incoming? What about vortex, when you heal with vortex does that count as incoming or outgoing?
@@PoohOnYourShoe 300 focus, 150 con, rest in strength. flail damage still scales nicely with a heavy emphasis on focus and it will make the life staff heals worth while too. but dropping a bit of focus for more strength is viable too
@@PoohOnYourShoe i don't use ankh, but would definitely try it out if i had it. since i've never used it, i can't say for sure, but if you heal others, your heals should be cut in half (unless they are wearing ankh), but healing yourself should actually cancel out the increase and the decrease. since you output heals but also receiving them. so i think this should have 0 effect on your healing power for yourself. but ankh would buff all your lifestealing from your perks, runeglass gems and built-in lifestealing from your weapon passives. but like i said, never tested it, i might be wrong here.
