Week 8? Darnell and Cassette Girl? FinnKu the LEAKER? We talk about supposed FNF leaks on Twitter and Soundcloud under the name "FinnKu". (Summary)
That's right, in this video we go over a recent Friday Night Funkin "leak" that is speculated to be in the next 2023 update! This is for the base game, so FinnKu's songs don't include FNF mods (as of now). Among these songs include Monger and Flesh. This spawned some FNF drama on Twitter, so we looked into evidence provided by accounts like Lendon, and moments from FNF livestreams from Ninjamuffin and PhantomArcade to help solve our case!

It was easy to tell it was fake though I was mostly just sharing because it was fun as hell to see everyone especulating I even said "I still think it's fake" in the tweet and I want to make that clear because I have a brain and it was REALLY easy to tell it was fake lmfao also there are more people involved in those leaked songs from what I have seen and I want to say Im sure the devs are lying about "Shingi is trolling" but we will find out when the update comes out anyways

Yeah well BF vocals from the official game and ones from mods there is a very clear difference. Mod vocals are mostly the same for every song, However for officials BF's vocals seems to always be unique and somehow better. The leakers for example, the bf vocals sound modded.

Yeah, the leaker turns out to be fake. FinnKu turns out to be a composer from the modding community, and not gonna lie, the tracks are bangers tho. Cassette Girl's voice is calming, Cassette Goon's voice is great, """"Darnell""""s voice is unique, and uhh yeah most of the """"leaks""'" are almost close from being legit...

These song leaks for some reason just aren’t that surprising to me, the devs have taken so long on this update and mods have evolved so much that I feel these songs could easily be mod songs. the songs are no doubt fake, the darnell songs have been leaked already and the ones we have dont sound like the ones finnku showed, and some of the songs we have heard before somewhat in the ninja muffin streams sound ever so slightly different than the "leaked" ones because the ones in the "leaked" version are just recreations and extensions of what we heard

While I could tell right away it was fake, at least we have the definitive answer that they aren't real. As well as the length of the Erect Roses they posted being incorrect, since ninjamuffin has shared the correct length of it before and they didn't match up. Hope that the main team don't let this bother them, and continue to work on the v-slice update.
