Idk about you but none of the new characters are even interesting or funny. I’ll replay gears of war 1,2,and 3 campaign a million times before I replay gears 4 or 5

I would like them to go back to Gears of War, and yes I'm a Marcus die hard but the Diaz storyline has got some mega history and weight there too. I like Kait! I'm sure they're not done with Fenix yet ;)

sorry mate but this just isn't correct - go look at the visuals on Gears 4 and compare it to other games from 2016. It was among the best easily. Then Gears 5 pushed for 4k 60 on the One X (something which many games still fail to hit even today). From what I recall G5 MP also had 120fps on SX console before anyone else - and with those visuals that's no mean feat. Hivebusters also looks like it could have been released today, still looks better than other games. Games like Gears take a solid 5 years to make these days, and that's not including any RnD time (they moved engine remember). :) - so yeah, 7 years sounds about right.

@@gearsintelMechanically tho bro, 4 and 5 are trash compared to the mechanics in 2 and 3 that GREATLY improved upon the first. Even GOW1 is more fun than 4 and 5. A lot of the mechanics and depth was all but missing from 4 and 5, a TOTAL let down to the hardcore fans. That’s due to their pandering to the casual and new players while neglecting hardcore players. Rule of thumb. . . If an entertainment company for ANY media medium neglects their hardcore fan base for an already established IP, the people who’re there for the DEPTH, you lose EVERYONE generally then. It’s because you HAVE to have the hardcore as the support and foundation to an IP. We’re the ones that make word of mouth and make the game attractive for new players to get into. Casuals and new players follow what the hardcore does with these franchises. No hardcore = no fan base at all and 4 and 5 put the hardcore on their LAST legs with the franchise. The collection gotta be real, and 6 alone could not stand on its own.

I'm not sure many people are flodding the gears 4 and 5 servers right now, and a collection would just keep us busy until the next main game. Maybe in 2 years? :)
