I am an IITian. I spent all my teenage years closed in a room 9-10 hrs per day, studying. Cracked numerous exams like NDA, Olympiads, Fellowships. Now, after I am in college, we are again in the struggle of getting good jobs and interns. I think living life carelessly is not a option for Indian youth. The challenges new generation Z is going to face in future are: 1. Maintaining emotional relationships 2. Negotiation skills 3. Communication and Public Speaking. 4. Medical conditions like: Sugar, blood pressure, obesity, heart attack, migran etc. 5. Anxiety and fear of nothing but everything.

As a 24 year genz guy, I can confirm one thing...life is no easy, no matter what generation slab or gender you may be in. We understand our parents have worked rigerously to give us a fair life and food in our plate, education. But, we too are in our own race to lead a good life, to make our parents and loved ones happy, to be self reliant and resilence. Todays struggle is different though we have resources, but no proper job, hyper corruption, corporate politics, lakhs of people for a single vacancy in gov sector, no proper directions, inflation, zero hikes, this all leads us to stress and breaks us apart :)
China has the reverse problem because of their 1- child policy which has wS recently lifted and their cureent demography is getting old soon which is not supportable by the smaller size of younger population. The average household size of nuclear family has been decreasing in India, more in the south than north but overall a decrease in household size and after reaching a peak, it will start decreasing. However, the current genZ and later will be old by the time the reverse happens. Question is what population size and demography ratio is the right proportion that allows for sustainable enriched living?

I’m a millennial and I’ve deleted my fb and Instagram after watching this video. From six months I was skipping my workout and spending time with my kids/parents because of constantly scrolling on reels. Now I won’t let that happen. Only social media app that I’ve in my phone is RU-vid because I am fitness lover and watch workout videos.

The major issue that I feel that we all are facing especially in the context of gen. Z the education system of our country is quantitative, not qualitative, conceptual clarity is zero whereas few numerical decide our future, and even the worst scenario is the emergence of AI and lack of Faith towards each other, which leads us towards a blindfolded rat race
Wow, such a beautiful and insightful video. I totally agree with the issues faced by the Gen Z generation. With lack of purpose, laziness becomes a habit and lack of self confidence is evident. This in-turn leads to Gen Z seeking refuge and/or validation from the online forums on the internet. A sense of direction, Cultural binding, gives the self assurance and boost needed to overcome challenges. If mental strength is not cultivated, it will lead to unintended habits and result in a chaotic lifestyle and decisions. To add, if the Gen Z culture/ problem is to continue, it will likely give rise to increasing number of divorces and financial mismanagement. Parents play a very important role to contribute in helping solve this problem. The western countries are experiencing these problems and sadly we Indians are also heading in the direction probably because we're highly influenced by the west.

It should be made compulsory for students to involve in physical sports and exercise at least 1hr a day, this time should be alloted in all educational institutions, school college etc.
I think the social media and smartphones are the main cause of prevailing situation among us (Gen Z). Social media and smartphones were innovated in order to stay socially connected. But these platforms are rather being used for just for the purpose of show off which brings depression and anxiety among Gen Z . And as Col Rajeev Bharwan says is the principle lesson for us "Try to connect people in real life not in reel life ".

In India, Need to bring socio-Ritualistic hemisphere as well, such as outdated institution of marriage and family values, Caste in India as caste inequates life events , Conundrum between Older values v/s Human values that we have seen, etc. To study Problems of Genz in a much better world. By the way, Due Hinduism and my moral conundrum between it fostering unity and at the same time foster caste divide made me think critically about Hinduism. RIYAL...I've completely lost my communication skills, including the ability to remember most of the words I used to use on a daily basis, as well as the names of things. I can't even communicate in my local language due to this. I spend all my days sitting in front of a screen, either preparing for exams or watching random stuff (which is useless, but dopamine always wins :)). Earlier, I used to think this happened because I haven't talked to anyone since the lockdown. However, after doing some research on this, I came to know why. T_T Literally, I've no friends, no social life and a fucked up routine:)

If there is good parenting like parents should make their children mentally and emotionally stronger then this problem would had been less. Being a Millenial what helped is discipline, love , even we didnt had too much luxury we were satisfied with the life playing outdoor games, bonding with cousins. Apart from virtual world, old generation and even my parent's generation are way worse in human relationships, morality, nationalism, spirituality, education, discipline. They only are better sometimes in doing hard work and that's it. But their expectations from us... Oh my.... It's fun also in case of older generation when they start fighting among themselves and start revealing their past deeds and trust me they were not as idealistic as we believe them, not even close. I am also a Gen Z guy who suffers from these problems. Anxiety, Depression and feeling purposeless have become our part of life.Excessive use of social media and internet, lack of religious beliefs, lack of outdoor activity, unhealthy environment, increasing population, lack of opportunity and lack of guidance have made us timid, lazy, unhealthy and dumb. I think we need a helping hand from our seniors, our previous generation who can guide us to the right path and remind us of our infinite capability. It is not too far when there will be ads beside every Phone that "Be careful, this device is draining your brain power". 😂
i think the major challenges that new generation Z is going to face in future are - 1- lack of employment opportunities due to high population and tough competition 2- lack of confidence 3- lack in making proper decisions regarding their future 4- and all because of these depression will take place 5- overuse of mobiles and spending much time on social media in order to get peace and happiness but ironically this lead to more more and more depression problems and unhappiness among gen z
