Is GERMAN CHAMPS better than GBB? 

To clarify I think they’re insanely close and I can’t really split them, Germany was amazing and everyone there I met is awesome too, the competition was way closer and the judging was the best in all events I’ve been to, not perfect but is that really possible? 😅 And I’m not saying this just cus it’s on his channel but madox walking around and asking everyone in sight all these questions including myself was really nice, getting everyone involved is just a nice way to make everyone feel as important as they are to the event I do believe that over time gbc can split off from what I believe is a perfect tie between itself and gbb I’ve said this before and I’ll say it again :) GBC you are big!!! 💚💚

An event is only as good as the artists performing there.

GBB23 was the best beatbox event I have ever been to. The sound in solo category was the best I have ever heard and the crowd was by far the best and most enjoyable to be in unless you enjoy drunk people next to you spill beer on you

Before watching. I think gbc is better. The production overall, the live experience, also the community on the spot, even tho i can't say that about gbb because i haven't been to one. I believe the vibe and people there are amazing too, but just saying. If we go skill wise, not necessarily, I mean the loopstation overall is better, no doubt, but i think solo not as much. Dont get me wrong the solo category was insane and veryyy high level but just not Gbb, a few contestans but not many (BP, Zota, kalisto gbb level, also lennsi who unfortunately couldn't participate cause he was sick) the live experience was amazing, the lighting, the sound, the vibe, there weren't any bad things tbh. Only the get in, which took veryyy long, but they already got that, and they'll try and make it better. Also from what i know, the treatment of the artist is very good, food hostel etc. The price also this gbc was good, ,,just" money but also for first and second place (since there weren't small finals for the main categorys because of time limit) I mean gbb also does now have an money price a BIG price, but also only for the winner, so basically if you dont win, you did it for ,,nothing" i mean perfoming is amazing, but atleast something if you go far in the comp. Only thing you could say is better maybe, is that gbb has more days and more ,,content" some may say its better some say it isn't. If gbc had 2 days, it would be even more better than gbb, and also more people would think that. Having many days has it's ups and downs for each individuel person, but I'd say gbc needs atleast 2 days. Even though the overall experience at gbb may be better, just because there is wayyy more content and contestens. Cant really say anything about live diffrences, because i only went to a gbc and not gbb, but i think its veryyy hard to top gbc, as an overall. My opinion is gbc is better than gbb, for said reasons :) also gbc has a better Reputation than gbb😭 but at the end of the day both events are incredible and are amazing experience for live and also video watchers. Big respect to the Organisation 🙏

how can some people compare recent gbc with gbb that happened 5 years ago. That's like comparing your smartphone to a landline. Be logical. I would say an event is considered to be good by getting and enjoying the artists whom we love. The sound system. It is debatable for the venue because the sound is more good in a small stage than in a stadium. But GBB has been so popular that it is impossible and moreover we want to spread the beatbox to the most. And everything comes up with the sponsors..how can we miss them. A well organised team and a diverse audience.

Joking aside, I think we all know that competitively speaking, GBB is much better than GBC. Now speaking in favor of GBC, I feel that today GBB is no longer a competition where you feel something familiar, warmth, or sentimental pleasure, it is rather a company, where it is noticeable in terms of organization that it has improved. But I feel that GBC makes better videos, the sound is crazy despite being a national community and the crowd gives the most. With that I don't want to disparage the Japanese crowd, I think we all know that they have a different way of experiencing things. Then something I would like to comment on is that in GBB 2023 I feel that the format of uploading the videos became very long, to the point that after the third category most people no longer cared to continue watching the videos, in fact You can notice a lot in the visualizations, and there were incredible artists. Then I feel that the location, although Japan is a beautiful country that we would all like to go to, is really not easy to access at all, neither for the people nor for the participants. And finally, a general opinion, lately I feel that the competitions need something fresh, everything feels a bit monotonous, at the time BBU brought something incredible, then they wanted to replicate it and the result was one of the worst competitions I have ever seen in my life. I hope something more interesting appears soon, the community needs it, such as festivals, I know things didn't turn out the way they wanted, but I feel that it could be the beginning of something very good. (my English is very bad, I'm from Argentina)
