There isn't a single room in my house where i haven't played guitar wirelessly, although I dont know what my mrs would say if i tried to take it to bed with me 😅. Loving the videos Jack. Ive only just recently got back into playing guitar properly after many years. Had my guitats stolen a while ago and only just got my own guitar again. Looking forward to watching all ya videos!

😂 Same bro. Though there are 2 guitars in the bedroom right now cause they're spilling out everywhere haha I really appreciate that dude, thanks so much. I bet you're still and absolute ripper though, eh? And that's insane! I'm glad you're back at it though dude, you're too good not to be! 🤘

This is pretty dope actually. I'd love to use this system while I busk. My buddy and I play on the streets of chicago for fun and this would come in handy. It may only be lofi guitar but it's nice background music for the people around us. Thanks for the review!

Nothing wrong with lofi guitar dude, I love it! This would probably be super useful for you! Cheers for watching man I appreciate it 🤘

Had a set of these for 3-4 years. Pro's: Never rolling over your lead again? Priceless. No issues ever with latency/sound AT HOME. I think it's even a bit daft to think it would have issues from a foot away. Unless its a foot outside your personal faraday cage. It's clear as any fancy lead I've got. Cons: Batteries died in the transmitting one a year or so ago. So I'd give them a 2 year life because of the batteries. Quality wise these aren't the sturdiest out there. The logo bit fell out of one of mine. It's in the drawer next to me. I have the Lekato ones now cause they're the same but were half the price. There's tons of off-brand ones on the market. The battery on the Lekato seems to be slowly failing at a similar rate. Xvive - If you're reading this how do I replace the battery with minimal to no electronics experience?

I actually own this exact wireless system and I use it whenever I play guitar, even if I’m at home, it’s just so freeing to be able riff out while while I’m in the kitchen or being able to practice stage antics without my feet getting tangled in leads, using this wireless unit I’ve run around the entire perimeter of venues and even played from outside the venue a couple of times, jumped off drum kits, risers, amps, speakers and just about anything else you’ll find on a stage, used to even do a silly maypole jig on stage with my old lead guitarist cause he had a wireless rig too, they’re a great investment and they really open up allot of possibilities in terms of stage antics 👌

Hey Jack 👋! This is a nifty concept . I'm returning to university next year to study a Bachelor of music. If I didn't need to bring leads, it would give me less stuff to carry and that's a huge plus with scoliosis. More room for focusing on playing the guitar too . Honestly, I would love to play guitar standing. It would mean a lot as a guitarist who has sat for most of my 20 years of playing. If I get to the point where I can play gigs again I would be so happy I would honestly cry. Guitar is my life and being unable to study it due to illness has been a major road block. Anyway, I hope the guitar goes to someone who will love it and cherish it ! :) I think it's awesome you're able to give it away. I hope you're doing well dude ? I ended up seeing Ne Obliviscaris in concert and I've never seen such a tight and emotional prog metal band. It was glorious! :)

Honestly I want a wireless system so I can walk to the fridge while shredding. Maybe if I got ambitious I'd try skating while shredding like David Gonzalez.

That’s a solid shout dude! I think I’d be too terrified to skate and shred man, imagine smashing your guitar and yourself at the same time 😂 But I fully respect the skate reference! Cheers my dude 🤘

Watched this again cus a wireless system is something I’m interested in. Dude the customer service skit gets me howling all the time! 😂 “unless you have the winning lottery numbers” so many times I’ve heard that on the phones! 😅

That is so cool, I’ve always wanted to try a wireless guitar system even though I don’t play a lot of gigs. But I’ll probably just use it to Play a little prank here and there with my friends and family, connecting it to my Roland Cube and play guitar when they don’t expect to, like when I’m in the bathroom😂 As always, I love how your videos explain everything down to the last detail, and even though I play at home for the most part, I’ll probably buy this for practicing writing riffs in a flash. Love , Julian from Italy🇮🇹 P S. I’ll be coming to the UK on October 6 to watch Gabriel Iglesias stand up show at the O2 Arena in London and I’m so excited because I’ve never been to the UK❤

My biggest issue with these wireless systems is the interference/noise when used with active pickups.
@JackTaylorGuitars
@JackTaylorGuitars 10 месяцев назад
A few people have mentioned that! With it being my first go on one I never even twigged that it would end up part of the active circuit!

I’m just starting out now trying to create content, and I’m forever getting up and down stopping recordings when I mess up and without fail i’ll trip on my lead or stand on it as I’m getting up so a wireless system will just make it that bit easier for me.
@JackTaylorGuitars
@JackTaylorGuitars 9 месяцев назад
It could definitely be of use to you mate, well worth a try. And it's cool af you've started to make some content! I'd love to check it out. Mate, the mistakes and stuff don't stop but they do get a bit easier to deal with. Take it from an idiot like me who can't string 3 words together right away 😂 Just be proud of what you make and try to do something slightly better every time you make something 🤘

@@JackTaylorGuitars cheers for the advice dude, it’s just a few of goofy Nu Metal covers at the moment. I’ve no longer got my Mac so today I grabbed a cheap usb microphone linked to my phone and pointed it at the amp to improve the sound quality but it’s taking a bit of tinkering to get right. I’ll get there in the end aha. Eventually I’ll get a full set up and interface and just use plug ins but there’s other priorities in life at the minute.

Hey! I just came here since i was anyways looking to buy one so id just like to share how id use it. Actually i wanted to study how it works and use the technology for dkfferent hardware projects, specifically one where we have a wireless sign in sign out system in schools and workplaces. And this sort of range is perfect for what we are thinking. I do also play guitar so yeah i wanted to figurr out how to make and work with wireless systems

😂 You’re crazy!!! Hey bro, Sweetwater Music had this line up that said… what content creators inspire you? I named you of course! 🎸💯 maybe it will help you in some small way. Also, can you receive music files I’ve created with my Scarlett 2i2. I’d like to have your layer on them and see where we are. I respect where you are both musically and sonically. We are on the same page bro! I think you’re gonna be surprised. Keep Loud Jack!!! 10 toes down! ❤

If at some point in the future you've got some stuff for me to check out and have a little guest spot or something I'm not against the idea though. Appreciate you thinking of me for it though dude, thank you 🤘

I’d use my guitar wireless system to jam without tripping over cables my man. Trust me, a lot of knicks and dents could have been avoided without cables, on the guitar AND on my body 😂

I'd use a wireless system so I can sit next to my coffee machine in the kitchen, while the riffs bounce around the next room \m/ Seriously though, I have been lookling for a wireless system, but some of these cheaper brands have issues with active pickups. It's handy just to be able to go out on the floor during a sound check and see how balanced the two guitars are.
@JackTaylorGuitars
@JackTaylorGuitars 10 месяцев назад
Yeah man good call! Gotta stay caffeinated! That’s interesting. I will admit I didn’t know that. I’ll give this a test and if I have any problems I’ll mention it in a pinned comment. Cheers mate 🤘
@PikaStu666
@PikaStu666 10 месяцев назад
@@JackTaylorGuitars Awesome, yeah I checked the Andertons page, it seems it doesn't support active pickups which is a shame. I wonder what happens when you try it? Boss do a model that does work with actives, it costs a few quid more than their standard model.
@JackTaylorGuitars
@JackTaylorGuitars 10 месяцев назад
It is a shame! If I test it out I’ll put it in the comments or something. I’d assume it gets interference with the output jack being used to complete the circuit for the pups but we’ll see!

Most guitar players stay clear of using wireless systems because of latency, signal inductances and overall poor quality of the sound which is something that happens when using 2.4Ghz frequency band that is already used by bluetooth, wifi internet connections and etc. Last year NUX released a wireless receiver-transmitter combo that works at 5.8GHz which should be relatively free of the issues mentioned above.
@JackTaylorGuitars
@JackTaylorGuitars 10 месяцев назад
Yeah man, it seems like there are a lot of reasons people might not use wireless! There's also a lot of fear too. So far, the only thing I've experienced is the almost unnoticeable latency on this unit but, for what I'm using it for, it's really good! Cheers dude 🤘

I’d probably use the wireless for the same thing you would. To be able to walk around the house unteathered and annoy my wife in every room 😂. That or to walk across the 20ft wide stage and poke the bass player in the ass with the guitar just for kicks 😂.
