I'm a huge fan of Cold Ones but I live in the states so I can't really buy this but I've been interested in what a unbiased person would think. Every person that I've seen review it go on and on about how they love Cold Ones and love Max and Chad and then when they drink it they act like it's ambrosia from God himself. I'm a bit sad that it's not that great but happy to finally have a real honest opinion on this. Glad this got randomly recommended to me lol.

Soju is a distilled neutral rice liqour. Kinda like if you distilled sake or makgeolli. The koji in the mash bill is rice. Like a slightly watered down vodka around 60% abv typically.

Love Cold Ones, and the drink was good in my opinion, but the price makes me expect it a bit more for it. Also yea the grape one tastes just like tape gum.

Taste is subjective, I hate horseradish the taste, texture and after taste even paired with anything while someone may like it, but it was nice to have a different opinion that isn't bias to Max an Chad on these. I wondered if they were super Peach or Grape or whatever flavor. Watching these guys pound them back like water had me concerned if they were very diluted or if they just had no acholic taste to them at all masked by flavor profile. That being said vaping is another form of getting a nicotine fix that isn't smelly cigarettes so I'd rather someone vape and blow some fruity flavor in my direction then ashy smoke. Plus cigarettes have your clothes smell terrible and a vaper just throws annoying smoke clouds.
Brother, I just have one quick question. Have you watched a single episode of cold ones because your perception of them seems a little bit off a couple of things that I noticed, and I seen that a few other people are commenting about it. They drink a lot of beer and a lot of alcohol in general. it’s not that hard to research. It’s pretty blatant.
Those drinks are definitely not made for people who are beer drinkers like you, and me. I don’t think I’d like it either. It’s made for people who like vodka seltzers or flavoured vodka sodas. I love me some Guinness extra stout, that’s my favourite. Good review bossman.
Really enjoyed this video, subbing. Its interesting that a channel such as Cold Ones would be trying to mask the alcohol taste in their product with vape-like flavours, especially something as exotic as a spirit made from rice. You would think they would embrace the booze, not try to mask it with artificial flavours. I dont even drink alcohol because when I do its quite likely the police will get involved cuz i dont know when to stop lol, but I quite miss the taste of it.
