There's a saying in football: SOME people love Messi, SOME people love Cristiano Ronaldo, but EVERYBODY LOVES RONALDINHO! His style of play was just PURE ART!
Ronaldinho is the only player that real Madrid fans have gave a standing ovation to, he destroyed them by himself in their own stadium and their fans decided to stand up and clap, not even movies can write scripts like this. Ronaldinho was also close friends to Kobe. Ronaldinho told Kobe, I want you to meet the best player in the world, Kobe said but you are the best player in the world. And ronaldinho replied, no this player will be better than me. It was a 16 year old messi
Yeah he was like a brother figure to the young messi who left at the age of 13 from his country of Argentina to Spain after the greatest football club just decided to buy 13 year old Messi and Messi, with no collage or school football went from playing for a kids club in Argentina to debuting as a pro wtf
He left at 11 And yes inna way he was like a bro But he was grooming him While ronaldinho was called the best in the world he literally said Im not the best there is a guy in the youth team that is the best player All the main squad players would go to watch the youth matches just for him And they begged for him to come into the main squad
itkojecockot yeah that’s why Ronaldinho is special just no ones gets that level! I wish he left the outside of the pitch issues away then things would have been different
Ronaldinho would make everyone smile when they saw him play - it was so beautiful. Unfortunately he liked to party too much and that's what brought his downfall. To me he is and always will be the GOAT.
By the time the summer of 2006 rolled around, Ronaldinho had already won just about everything there was to win not just individually, but for both club and country as well (Ballon d’Or, FIFA player of the year, league titles, a World Cup, Copa America, Champions League, etc). So it’s almost like after all that, he became bored with the game. During his final two years at Barcelona, there are stories of him staying out all night partying and then sleeping through practice the next day in the training room. And he hadn’t even reached his 30s yet. I think had he not rested on his laurels and kept that focus that made him an elite player, there would be no question about who the greatest player ever is: Ronaldinho
@@raulshiro6239 Calling me a kid but you can't even write properly lmao R9 and dinho are the best players to ever touch the pitch. Go back and watch your useless stats and stop watching football
Just remember...Ronaldinho before his 30s won everything, Champions, World Cup, copa América, spanish league. And then we won the award for best player of the world....and Ronaldo and Messi will never win every competition. Both Ronaldo and Messi will never win a world cup.
Ronaldinho had the highest peak, at his prime he was the best player ever. but he didnt like to trainning, went to all parties that he could during the season... that made he fall
Literally if you compare this person to any other footballer you don't love football man bcz he's the one who made everyone fall in love with this beautiful game also known as 'smiling assassin'😊
You guys have NO IDEA what was to feel the energy from the people about to watch a R10's game. He was pure magic since 17. Played in the brazilian powerfull national squad with only 18. This dude was the most talented player ever. Him and R9.
You are correct. He was a some kind of a mentor to Messi when they played together at Barcelona. It was cool seeing your reactions. I really enjoyed. Cheers guys
When Ronaldinho was in his prime there weren't much of a social media platform. Nowadays people who don't know football knows who cr7 and messi is 🤯 Ronaldinho is like the OG of this game 💯
@@razepokegbe9223 I think football started from 1900 or the beginning of the world 🌎 🌍🌏 it was the time that the world 🗺 had started beginning of the human or from the Stone Age
Ronaldinho is the most skillful player of all time. He's the that literally brought messi to Barcelona trailing everyday n helped Messi improve his game. He also assisted Messi's first two goals for Barcelona.
Ronaldinho was a mix of Messi and Ronaldo. He played effectively like Messi and he was a show off like Ronaldo. Yes he played for Barcelona and at some point he and Messi played together. Actually Messi first goal for Barcelona was assisted by Ronaldinho. His only problem was that he did not have the discipline that a pro Player should have. He was always staying up late for party's and lobed the shiny life of the night. And yes he was in jail recently because he went from Brazil to Peru with fake documents. he is out of jail now but still under surveillance.
The difference is Ronaldo wants to be the best, he’s want the fame and glory, while he working on the field. Messi isn’t trying to best, he happens to be the best. And Ronaldinho is just having the time of his life playing with a ball. You can tell Ronaldinho, was just being himself and how can you tell he’s always smiling.
Both Messi and C. Ronaldo strive to be the best. They said that they pushed each other to do more. CR is just way more passionate about it. Messi doesn't show it the way CR does, but when he is losing a game he does tend to look really depressed. Messi has even come out to say that he wants to be on a winning team when asked if he was willing to stick with Barcelona for the remainder of his career. Meaning that if Barca wasn't looking good in the champions league he would consider finding another team that did. Look at his situation now. Every player loves winning, even Ronaldinho, but you are right that Ronaldinho never got angry about anything. Ronaldinho chased glory too. That's why he played for so many good teams in Europe. He just didn't chase it as much as CR and Messi did. He rather live a party life than break records.
I love Ronaldinho. In fact he made me fall in love with football and started watching every Barcelona game because of him starting around 2007. At that time, Messi was a teenager old coming up through Barca's academy absolutely destroying everybody. There's a video you can find of Kobe talking in an interview about a time he met Ronaldinho and Ronaldinho introduced him to 17 year old Messi and said he would grow up to be the greatest ever. I feel very lucky to have watched both of them, and taking everything into account Messi is greater that Ronaldinho without a doubt mostly due to his consistency in outputting untouchable numbers for over 10 years straight whereas Ronaldinho's peak was much shorter. From 2010-2019, Messi had the most goals, most assists, and most dribbles out of any player in the world...which is just truly unheard of for one player to dominate so many facets of the game to that level. But Ronaldinho will always be my first love of football
Also this is a fucking amazing reaction bros. It's so funny to see your first reaction to these iconic highlights that I've seen a million times hahah. You got yourself a sub!
my GOAT. Put every player in the conversation on the pitch - in their prime - at the same time, and he’s the best player on the pitch. Best natural footballer ever
Messi is the guy who can do anything in football and his career is defined by winning almost every competition he played in, Ronaldinho is the guy who could do anything with the ball his career is defined by mesmerizing the football world with his flair
he is loved by everyone because is humble he as fun when he plays! it's like a happy kid in disneyland! when he plays looks like he forgets he's playing a professional game! a true brazilian saucy player! the only one! even rivals loved him! the only player in history as winning all the possibles major trophys ! World Cup Copa America UEFA Chamions league (europe) Copa Libertadores (south america champions league) Ballon d'or (individual) the dream palmares for any player! even messi and ronaldo dosen't have those one's!
Seeing people who never really watched much soccer react to legends like this is a breath of fresh air... for hardcore soccer fans. It reminds us how amazing they were! Thanks for the entertainment.
These reactions are the real reason why he will always be the best. Behind all the goals and assists and all of that, this is how you should feel when you watch football. Pure joy, pure skills and pure talent and nothing else.
Ronaldinho was pure magic. Messi dreams with reaching the level that Ronaldinho achieved. Best football player of our era, possible the best of all times.
There was, is and never will be a player ever again with such a magical touch to the ball like ronaldinho. With such ease and that flow its just a blessing watching him play every single time.
I play Soccer for almosr 40 Years and ive seen many Great Players thru the Decades but belive me, Ronaldinho is the G.O.A.T. He is pure Soccer Genius and Skill.
An old coworker I had showed me a highlight video of Ronaldinho once. I’ve been a soccer fan ever since. Incredible the things he could do with the ball. One thing this video didn’t show is how he could stop a ball falling from high up on a dime. Like if the shit landed in mud or something. No bounce or anything, just complete control of the ball. So crazy.
Ronaldinho is like one who led Messi to glory and then released him into the World and then that when Messi took off and the rest is history. Ronaldinho was elegant and Messi his own thing
!The Jet Li of soccer!" - class comment...and a perfect decription of the man. When he and Messi were playing for Barcelona at the same time it was scary for their opponents.
The goal at 5:57, caused sysmic waves in Barcelona because of the people's celebration. That was documented in a documentary. I believe the documentary is titled, when Ronaldinho brought laughter back to Barcelona.
Ronaldinho was once asked how is it to be best player in the world. He responded by asking question "How can i be best in the world while im not even best in Barcelona" refering to Messi.
"What Ronaldinho told Kobe Bryant in 2004 about Messi is simply incredible | Oh My Goal" - search that title if you dont believe me:) he told something like that also to .... Kobe Bryant.
Ronaldinho is considered the most skilled player in history by many . conquered many important titles in its peak that unfortunately lasted only a short time. He does not have a career like that of Cristiano and Messi. But at its peak it was the best the world saw with the ball at its feet. his charismatic and Brazilian way enchanted the world. Because Brazil is considered the country of football. It inspired players, it won everything a player can win. made history in the selection where he won a World Cup (most important football championship). He's a legend. The Magic Maker a brazillian dance style player with insane skill Assisted mentored Messi and passed on the torch one of just eight players to have won the FIFA World Cup, the UEFA Champions League and the Ballon d'Or only player ever to have won a World Cup, a Copa América, a Confederations Cup, a Champions League, a Copa Libertadores and a Ballon d'Or
Not only the best ..! Also the most liked, fun to watch, happier to play ......and the one that had the most fun playing ever ..!!!!😄 ....so fortunate to see this magician playing “el juego del hombre....the jogo bonito way ...!! 🤔💪🏽😎
I think it's really interesting. People from Europe know Ronaldinho (not all of them of the younger ones), but those who watch soccer. And I'm in that generation where you would call someone Ronaldinho, when someone played crazy good and di all the tricks. So i do believe it happened in a generation. And that's the beauty in it. Legends who inspire other generation of Legends who do the same to the next one.
well Ronaldinho is Messi mentor back in the day, when Messi join Barcelona Ronaldinho who always support him. 3 forward Ronaldinho, Henry, Etoo with Messi the super sub
Damn! That dude was nuts! I gotta watch more football. You couldn't even see that dude's feet most of the time. Just crazy!!! Loved the jailbird hoodie by the way!!!
Some like Messi some Ronaldo but everybody got Ronaldihno. Some people have a thing against him because he liked to party after matches while Messi and Ronaldo wouldn’t do that but whenever dinho stepped out no one could touch him
its Joga Bonito.....its just amazing....in his prime....he is 2 times No 1 football player in the world and a Fifa World Cup Champion....he won numerous award...he indeed a legend.
Something else to think about is that most of these highlights came from a span of just 4 or 5 years when he was "trying". Messi and CR7 highlights are spread over a decade. Ronaldinho partied as much as he played ball, So it wouldn't be inaccurate to say he was an "underachiever" in soccer. He was and it's still my favorite player ever. I don't care that other guys won more balloon d or or champion's leagues. I think Ronaldinho was the most talented, athletic, and gifted soccer player ever. If he had messi work ethic, he's best all time. Go watch some videos about what other soccer greats say about him. They were in awe watching what he'd do
Messi was his protege! Ronaldinho is on a whole other level. Ronaldo aka CR7 shouldn’t even be in the conversation with him. Messi learned a lot from him and the best of the active players
Whether he is better or not is one thing. I mean he was an incredible player. One thing that nobody can deny is that his foot work and his skills on the field were f***ing insane. Ronaldinho is one of the guys you think of that is Brazilian that basically manhandles anyone he's against in a game.
I have 2 football jerseys in my apartment on the wall. Zidane and Ronaldinho. I am so glad I could watch him LIVE in his prime. Only for him I went to Barcelona and watched a game
On his day he was as good as Messi and Ronaldo. He was only at the top for around 5 years though. Messi and Ronaldo have been running it for 12 years. He didn't quite put up the numbers they did either. Messi is the GOAT
