Phoenix E.O.D. Hydra Rinseless...... www.phoenixeod...
The Hydra can also be used as a waterless wash. Dilute 1 ounce per 128 ounces (1 gallon) of water to use as a waterless wash. Working one panel at a time, spray a liberal amount of diluted Hydra directly onto the panel and wipe clean using a soft microfiber towel. Flip and switch towels often as you work your way around the entire vehicle.
The Hydra can also be used as a clay bar lubricant. Dilute 1 ounce per 128 ounces (1 gallon) of water to use as a super slick clay lubricant. It’s a fantastic value! If you don’t feel comfortable at this dilution ratio, or it’s just not slick enough for you, simply add more Hydra until it does. The important thing is to be safe and have fun!
This rinseless wash saves tons of water and time by allowing you to wash your car from a single bucket. . . no hose, no rinsing, no hassle.
Advanced polymer technology that gently traps dirt and dust
1 ounce makes 1 gallon of wash
Will not strip away existing wax basecoat
Cleans Multiple Types of Vehicles and Surfaces: glass, plastic, metal, rubber, or even leather interiors on cars, trucks, RVs, golf carts, and more.

So almost every enthusiast uses the 2 bucket method with a pre rinse and Snow Foam combo. Why doesn't anyone use 2 buckets with a rinseless wash? The dirt and grit on those sponges have to be way more than a pre rinsed and soaped car using a traditional wash mit / Pad. Never understood it

I also tend to use alot since I pre spray with rinseless at a 128:1 ratio with a ik sprayer then use a mitt with a standard dilution and use 3-4 total gallons if I'm also cleaning wheels in the winter months. I could use far less but I would rather use more liquid and less towels since replacing towels is far more costly when using quality towels.

My main issue isn't with the product itself picked up a gallon of this and a gallon of P&S Absolute. Both are awesome however P&S is .5 of an oz per gallon for rinsless washing and has different dilution ratios based on the use. Where as Hydra has the same dilution ratio for every use which is 1 oz per gallon. If looking at it from a value perspective absolute or the others mentioned in the vid just make more sense

A gallon of ONR you can get for $25-30, on sale. Hydra is $44, but you need twice as much (128:1 versus 256:1) So it's basically 4x more expensive than ONR. Is it worth it?

@@apexdetail85 I, too, have and use ALL the more popular branded rinseless wash products … including Hydra. If we’re being fair, yes, Hydra is a tad more lubricated than OnR. At least the older version of OnR. Hydra does NOT clean any better or worse than OnR, that’s nonsense. This brings up an excellent point, though. At what point does “lubrication” become a diminishing return? I feel like some of the original rinseless washes were perfectly fine on lubrication. I’m talking before Wolfgang or OnR existed. I mean, yeah they streaked a bit but that was eliminated later on. As a professional, I would suggest investing in cheaper products that deliver on results. At home, use what you want to use. If you want to buy $500 a gallon what ever, have fun with it, enjoy. Who cares? I’m just saying, as a professional, more expensive means less profit. Period. 😊😊😊

Without using it but based on your description and what can been seen on the video it seems to be equal to McKee"s 37 N-914. Only thing that I wonder is the lubricity of it vs N-914. As an example IME N-914 beats ONR is lubricity but you could never really show that inna viseo in a meaningful way but would be easily noticeable in person to someone being observant. You really kind of made this a bit miss-represented by the title. You insinuated this was going to be a comparison but really it was a demo advo for this product. You only made a single mention of the other products only to say it was possibly as good. "Run for their money" So you have always been a straight shooter no bs person in your detailing videos andcI assume in person as well......Let's hear it is Hydra superior to N-914 or equal to it. I get you got use one and since this is Phoenix product it makes sense to go with it.

@bullrage74

@Steven Guadalupe unless the car is slightly dusty and I mean SLIGHTLY, I'll never understand why anyone shows the 1BM to do a RW. I'm certainly no pro but I've been doing them for 12 yrs and as soon as started doing them the 2nd bucket came out, just made sense to me. The 1BM is only for when you've got many mf towels soaking and THEY are the wash media, pre-treating every panel here as well👍👍
@jayhoughton558

@@bullrage74probably true with N914 since it just seems to emulsify. It doesn’t encapsulate and pull the dirt to the bottom of the bucket like polymer based rinseless washes so.

@Steven Guadalupe yeah power washing that top layer off first is always best. I've bought a monthly sub to a touchless carwash near my work due to being in an apartment that has pine trees in the yard behind us, this is a good thing now because instead if slip sliding at the quarter wash I can just drive through the touchless wash now, plus I'll be pre-treating with Bilt-Hamber Auto-foam or Touchless once a week or more when needed to win the battle against salt!!

Brian your a mind reader. I have been looking into this for a while. NEPA is the worst for car washes and road salt. I know I still need to rinse off there during the winter. Any mild clay will work just make sure you use a quality lube and if using a rinseless product add a little extra then suggested and keep the clay and panel wet and use just enough pressure to keep the clay on the panel and move in short fast moments I do a hand waving motion with my wrist because if you use your shoulder or elbow your arm will be gassed out in short order if doing a entire vehicle.
