Very accurate verdict.... BITTER TRUTH that needs to be told :- Ford Ecosport is a very UNDERRATED product in India and we Indians fail to acknowledge its built quality and fun to drive driving-handling nature!!!
That is a issue with us since we go for Suzuki's etc which have horseshit driving dynamics....these cars are offer International level of driving dynamics etc. We owned the first gen Ikon in 2001....the car drive fabulous, was properly built, I went nuts when I saw power windows in a car. The Focus and modeos are all beautiful cars.... it's only here that those cars didn't pick up. We used the Ikon for 8 years, worked like a charm ...sold it and bought a Corolla Altis in 2009. Altis is still strong even 10 years later, got a 2.8 z Crysta as well.
@@prasanthkumar6985 second best very close to ecosport , but ford after sales service and maintenance is lower compare to nexon, petrol ecosport is clear winner and in diesel if you prefer more space in rear seat go for nexon otherwise ecosport is still better

This comparison ICN Video helped me doing the following, was looking for Automatic Sub 4 meter SUV. Test driven following vehcles : Venue DCT : Engine wise I liked it. Rest of the car was not worth 14 Lac on road price. Only 2 airbags for automatic variant, most of features I felt are gimmicks which I may never use. The infotainment display fitting is like tab fixed in dashboard. Nexon AT : The head nod & jerkiness., Driver position & driving dynamics were not for my liking as I was not comfortable. XUV 300 - I have not test driven as I didn't like the looks of it, felt like old swift on steroids. Hence, never considered it. Ford EcoSport Automatic : The torque converter was good but personally I felt Venue DCT was better. Rest of the car was awesome, felt like driving real SUV and the build quality was too good. Hence, I requested Ford for maual test drive.. Ford EcoSport Manual : I liked it to the core, it has put a smile on my face. Infact, my friend who accompanied mentioned that he has never seen me so happy driving any car. Hence, booked EcoSport S variant. Received EcoSport S car last week, driven from Bangalore to Hyderabad to Vijayawada to Hyderabad. (Some local traffic rides as well) Almost 1.8 k kilometers.. all the way it impressed me with smile all the way. Never felt need of automatic. #Ford family wali feeling :)
Hey Santosh, seems you did much analysis on ecosport. I'm planning to take ecosport, mostly I will drive around 10000 kms per year. Is it good to go for Petrol or Diesel.? Now a days petrol and Diesel rates are same , offcourse Diesel is more than petrol now today.How is ecosport petrol mileage.? Got to know ecosport Diesel engine is ultimate.Need your inputs.Looking forward to see your comments

I purchased a 2nd hand top model ecosport. Its diesel engine is soo punchy and gives that much driving pleasure that I feel lile all day Long i can drive this vehicle. I love my ecosport. Recently did Kolkata to Kerala approx 2200km a three day long trip without any problem.
@@Antony8474 i have 2015 model diesel. Its clutch is a bit hard. But new models after 2017 dont have such issue. You may visit a dealership and do a test drive before purchase anyday. Though i am not facing any problem because of this hard clutch though.
@@tapas1505 ok bro.. So u are telling after 2017 they made change to clutch assembly... Now that's a good news.. I love ecosport and was bit reluctant at the same time coz of this clutch rumour..
@@Antony8474 It's not a big issue brother. Nothing in this world is 100%perfect. You can test drive any ford car. You will fall for it if you love driving. The built quality and driving pleasure of ford is top notch as always.

Ecosport is the best compact suv....I recently purchased it in June 2019 leaving aside venue.... Venue is attracting buyers due to its new style DRLs and lamps set up at the front and blue Link features ....But its inside cabin, rear trunk profile and height gives it a look of a hatchback..... Moreover, it comes with only two rear parking sensors, no sunglass holder, no lights on all power window button, no electrochromic mirror, no Tyre Pressure Monitoring system, steering with tilt option no telescopic, under powered engines etc and due to same it is cheaper. On contrary, Eco is beast with muscular front, powerful engine, robust build quality, sporty cabin and fun to drive car with best handing quality and provides most of necessary features in its base variant which overshadows venue in all departments.

After test driving both the venue sx diesel and ecosport thunder diesel myself, I personally agree 100% with your findings and conclusion ,may it be driving performance, handling or may it be rear seating comfort ,ecosport excels than venue in every segment. That's what actually convinced me for my new ecosport thunder.(especially when I switched from Hyundai grand i10 to a non hyundai- ecosport ) Thanks for a really genuinely factful video once again. Ford echosport is much better than other rivals, build quality, driving dynamics and value for money... Titanium plus petrol automatic is just mind blowing
People say automatic is not fun to drive they must drive titanium automatic petrol 1.5 in sport mode and then comment, the drive comfort and handling are unmatchable at that price point

Ecosport is way much better. Venue is having features but not having punch at all.. i20 is still good then venue..dont know why people are going for Venue🙏
Hyundais focus on looks, features, refinement...... But fails to give a driver's car...... They r light years behind Ford in driving dynamics where Ford mainly focuses on it other than features, looks, power......

After seeing your review I went for Ford freestyle Titanium diesel, which has the same engine as that of Ford Ecosport , which is really punchy . Went for Freestyle because my pocket didn't allow for Ecosport, otherwise Ecosport S was the first choice .
@George Jacob I didn't except that from ford otherwise jo bhi owner abhi ford ke hain india me wo Ford ki power, performance,quality, or long lasting durability ko achi tarah se jaante hai. India me failing ka other reason hai Or yogi ji ki is video me sirf perfect product ki baat ho rhi hai.
@@jeckybross1996 bro yaha logo ko puri baat hi pata nahi hoti...Ford pichle 3 saalo se profit mein hai india mein....It exports 4 times what it sells here....Secondly Mahindra ke saath joint venture ek new SUV aur electric car ke liye kiya hai....Ford and Mahindra are in joint venture since 1995...So Ford is here to stay...They are even ready with bs6 petrol and diseal engines....There are only few cars who are left with some soul in there driving.....
In EcoSport petrol I would like to buy Titanium +. Is it a good option.I don't feel to waste money on other higher variants which has sunroof,arm rest etc which is not needed for me
@@meenakshibhardwaj7301 it depends...I have seen engine problems in desire and etios in 40000 kms....In jaipur I sat in a ola taxi which was a Ford figo old gen which had done 200000 kms with no engine issues.....
Hi, I am getting a deal on EcoSport petrol 1.5 ltr, Trend model, Delhi, @ 9.25 lacs on road(discount of 60k). In this model, I am getting dual tone interior, 16 inch steel wheels, touchscreen infotainment with embedded navigation and rear view camera, rear wiper and defogger. Please suggest is this a smart choice over Hyundai venue 1 ltr 'S' model which is costing @ 9.2 lacs where none of the features mentioned above are available. Please suggest.
Torque values change with RPM level. You might want to include that next time at what RPM which engine generates its peak Torque. By the way, any news about BS6, Ford and their diesel engines starting next year (Apr 2020)? What is their stance on it?
