It’s possible. Because people might become quite lazy over time since most of their work can be outsourced to machines.This may lead to a state where people will no longer be used to hard work and in case technology fails, a large number of people may not be able to carry out the tasks of their daily life anymore.

In my opinion, I feel like the internet has an impact on our brains in both a positive and negative way. I think we use our brain more when we do research on the internet and when we find something it helps us get smarter and helps us use our brain more than we are used to.

I think it is possible it is happening and, in order to avoid this, we as humans should not rely on technology in an unhealthy manner, meaning that we should keep a certain level of independence from the internet.

Many people may be overwhelmed by the huge amount of information and people may no longer be able to process all this information in a healthy manner. This may lead to depression or other mental problems, which may significantly lower the quality of life for those people.

I don't know if the internet is necessarily making people "stupid", but it sure that people are getting more and more mentally lazy and more and more dependent on technology. I think this is not a good thing

I believe so, because the internet has made things so accessible, that people are weakening their mental resources once they don’t need to use their brains like in the past. Most people are getting lazy to think and this is a serious problem.

I think it depends...on the one hand, the internet can make some people lazy because they don't have to make an effort to get answers but, on the other hand, contact with the internet makes our brains process a greater amount of information, making it more agile.

Everything depends on the purpose of using the web. You can use it properly, to learn new things, watch documentary movies, etc and this way you will improve your mental skills, or you can just waste your time with silly things and get more stupid!

Well, I think it's a rather difficult question to answer, and requires further analysis. But one thing is for sure: the internet makes people more passive, and this can really weaken their reasoning, and decision-making abilities.

I think so, because the internet makes us lazy and reduces our ability to focus. Several studies have found that people reading digital text retain less information than those reading text printed on paper.
