@@kommodore979 Rat doesn't have to be first though, just in front of the gorilla. So put like a scorpion or something in front of those two and you're set.

Then rat would have to be lvl 1. Lvl 2 rat would waste coconut right after triggering it, making the strategy useless.

@@luket6405 I have been watching NL for awhile just never this specific game. I think the first thing I watched was One Step From Eden. I am gonna have to go back and watch the earlier Super Auto Pets videos to understand what's up.

@@MC--- I was the same way. Watching from the very beginning helped understand since he went a lot slower with everything and you had time to read the animals abilities

@@MC--- I started from the beginning and still have to pause occasionally when he hovers over stuff just so I can see what it does. The man plays at an insane pace lol

I think he just keeps them too long. Like a early rabbit is good for probably 2 rounds (3 with alot of salads) but plus 1 health when you're in the hell zone that is turn 6 and up just doesn't cut it anymore.

Also penguin is boring

@@super_7710 definitely, it's very hard this time around. I'd definitely agree with NL that it's the most competitive the game has ever been..Don't feel bad for not going far, take your time on your turns, figure out the meta:)

@@super_7710 whenever there's a new meta with a patch in any game there's a lot of floundering until people know what works and doesn't work

When I first played late last patch, I won my first ever game and felt like I could win quite often. Now it’s just strong summon team, strong scaling team or insane luck/stats team every round. I’ve not played much though as it’s just been frustrating. Best round was with a badger as the x2 damage was my only scaling lmao.

You don't understand. The penguin buff was basically just a free salad. That's just one thing. The gold could be anything! Except a salad, you'd need 2 more gold for that.

It depends on what synergies you want. Look at the last team he built: It rotates around small damage to proc off most of the enemies (hedgehogs) and then have his own big animals cleaning up the rest (with some abilities to spawn pets in case they die). Then he switches the rabbit out (because rabbit isn't really a good pet) and that's fine. Then he combines the two hedgehogs to get one stronger hedgehog, puts that in front of the whale (who eats the animal in front of them; basically to get two death-mechanics; the popping off ) and fudges everything up. He changed his team synergy on the spot and the entire team is now weak sauce with few synergies (except buff up inbetween rounds, which is viable but he started too late).

Jokes aside he do be looking pretty sharp though

He invests so much into those tier 1 units that he always struggles to pivot off them
