I think it is nice to say to buy na lang talaga nowadays lalo na sa mga busy na profession o taong naguumpisa pa lang sa career nila but can afford already. Medically related path ako and I can say wala talagang time for "headaches" you mentioned, so thanks for mentioning those. Sobrang big relief na isang tao and developer na lang ang kakausapin mo. People underestimate the "What you see is what you get" phrase. I'll go buy then hire a professional interior designer na lang for customization kung talagang kulang pa. Pero malay niyo, in the near future magka-time so mag build na lang ako 😂

I think AutoCAD design walkthroughs should be paired with VR technology so the client can actually scale/visualize what the design looks more or less when its built. 😁😅

Yes it is not about to buy or build your own is about the financial you have in your pocket....you want to architect your very first own house with your character taste its okay especially if you want to live near at the beach or at the mountain like sky family go ahead but if you have enough budget and you just want to buy a house thats okay in latter part if you want to change the design or to renovate thats fine....so same good either to buy or to build is up to you which option you want to choose as well as the convenient place to live

You can actually see your soon to be house in Virtual Reality. You can go on a virtual tour, walk around the house and even move furniture. The CAD operator can model the furniture(from real life) into virtual space and place it in the house. Like those first person simulation games but with a custom built map that is your dream house. After I finish my engineering degree I want to do VR construction because it sounds very promising to address the the costs of revisions and get the client’s design finished before it is physically built. Since the design can be finalized in virtual space, I expect the actual building part to be swift.
What you have said we’re all our experiences when constructing our home. Really stressful and even if you have your contract price, that’s not a guarantee that will be all of your expenses. You must have an extra ceiling for your budget in case of alterations on the plan which we’ve had experience. The only good side was, we have the house the way we want it done. Thank you. Yeah the exact reason why you "spend more" when you buy a house as opposed to building your own is because you are spared of all the headaches that go with planning and everything. Bottomline is if you trust the developer, just buy! I agree with you Engr. Slater!
For me kung my pera naman and hindi kailangan agad lumipat mas gusto ko yung build kase mas matutukan at mas matibay at hindi tinipid yung materyales.katulad namin first house namin rights lng pero ang dami pla ayusen....pero need tlga mg tyaga lalo na pg sakto lng budget. Sana soon maka ipon din kmi at makabili ng lote at makapag patayo bahay.♡👍🏼
Build, Renovate saves a lot if you have cash, with developer you will spend marked up with developer constructed property plus if you have agent or broker pa, and transfer.

One thing disavantage ng buy is pangit yung pag kagawa, when u live and move in na may leak / tulo pag ulan , weak yung faucet etc. sa build naman na disadvantage, kapag hndi sisipot yung worker dahil naka advance na sila or gusto mag advance (pero hndi napagbigyan) kaya di na sisipot. (not generalizing constr.worker, thats just based sa experiences). And tried dedicated workers na they do their best to give a good home structure :) Just choose the right people to build.

for me BUILD - property was already available - we're on a construction industry - we knew who can build the house - we knew what kind of materials to put on - financing (to follow) hahaha i'm working on it lol - more stressful, yes. but stress is good hahaha
Inflation... One factor I always look at.. Plus trial and error pagbuild.. So it would cost more if keep changing little things thatvwould build up in the long run.. I would go buy for 1st time home owners.. See is what you get.. Plus you can make additions.. It's stressful when it drags.. When you have the cash and ready to make your dream home then go for build.

Ever since, I'm with build a house. Mainly because I wanted a house that's very personal albeit small. Growing up seeing our house slowly being built through all these years inspired me. Plus, I've visited houses that were bought and it terribly disappoint me.

The tiny house movement is growing in the Philippines and many are building them to save and to customize. Hope you can have more features on tiny house designing. The first thing in investing in a house is the location. Is the area prone to flooding? Is the soil loose or rock bed? Loose soil tends to move stronger during earthquakes. Is the community friendly?

Absolutely on point! You need at least 2 million to build a 2 bedroom simple bungalow type house. If you don’t you can save and are better off buying from a developer.

Mas cheaper ang build kung maka hire kag workers nga maayo mutrabaho pero kung matimingan ka ug mga tapulan ug dili kamao, mas mahal na noon tungod sa delay ug pag usab usab sa mga palpak. Less stressful jud ang buy pero careful pud sa developer kay naay uban pila na katuig bayad, wala gihapon nahuman kay nagkaso kaso pa kay daghan tag iya sa yuta. Kung mupalit ready made house nga gioffer sa developer, mas maayo icheck sa hlurb kung naa na license to sell ang project. Mas maayo pud sa licensed broker ug accredited salesperson ta mutransact para dili ma scam.
For me personally, parang mas gusto ko ang build, kahit small house. Kasi lately sa mga nakikita kong houses sa subdivision, ang liliit ng bakal na ginagamit. Parang ang bilis masira and hindi safe. Pag build, atleast alam mo ang pundasyon

So relate about the husband and wife with different opinions and wants and likes... A few days ago, we just argued about the size and design of the window and took us 2 days of silent war. And until now we haven’t talked it over yet but we’re ok already we just opted not to discuss it first. 😕
Still prefer to build....it's not also about headache but also the quality of the materials....if i will build my house i will interfere in the procurement to check the spec of the materials coz mostly of the contractors (whether RFO or build) they use substandard materials to earn more don't care the quality of their work (though not all but mostly) just sharing opinion
