Is it concerning that vets skipped out on Carolina Panthers OTAs?

The Carolina Panthers finished up Week 1 of the team's three week stretch of organized team activities, or OTA, on Thursday. Absent from the media portion of OTA on Monday was Jadeveon Clowney, Robert Hunt, and Josey Jewell. In total, five projected starters weren't in attendance for the voluntary workouts. Of those five, only Eddy Pineiro was a part of the 2-15 campaign last fall. Even still, the Panthers are a team in repair and in need of a culture shift on the field. Should it be concerning that some veterans have opted to not participate?
Where does the Panthers salary cap stand heading into June? Is it enough for the team to pursue a marquee summer free agent?
Fans are trying to figure out what are reasonable expectations for the Panthers heading into Year 1 under Dave Canales. If the Panthers were able to double their win total would that be enough or is that aiming too low?

We lost luvu and burns…and added 4 LB…that room is better because Haynes and the other guys sucked to be honest….I really wish you would stop saying the defense is not better

Exactly. Plus, Robinson is on the interior with brown, too. Fuller is a great and underrated pickup as well.

@@gabesheaffer7757yea bro. Ppl are crazy. That pass rush is gonna struggle and the defensive energy and tfls will take a hit wit Luvu gone. Maybe ejero’s scheme is as magnificent as ppl say, but on the off chance that it isn’t…that roster is not something to be happy about. Especially without a pass rush and healthy no 1. Corner. And please get some capable safeties out there. Haven’t seen any since Kurt Coleman

No one knows anything until they start Playing Games - Wins can be anywhere from 2 to 7 Games if they gel and stay healthy

Could even be more than 7 games. In the NFL teams are very close so it doesn’t take much to flip the switch. I’m not expecting that, just saying it wouldn’t be as shocking as people think.
