I drafted Chuba in the 15th round last season and I’m debating whether I should keep him or Mostert whom I drafted in round 12. Both finished the season as starters, but seem like they are destined to be backups
Bruh, unfortunately, Ickey can't fix the fact that he's not that athletic to defend against decent pass rushers! He also needs to add a lot more strength to his core to keep from being tossed around so much. He can get stronger but the quickness probably won't get there anytime soon. He's not the worse but we definitely need a viable backup plan in place for Bryce's sake!!!😢.
Watched his highlights multiple times including last night an he will need to bulk up & work on his pass blocking for sure however as a pure receiving threat he is easily the best TE we have had on the roster since Olsen. Thomas is a bust nothing but C. Manhertz 2.0 that received a terrible contract but Scott Fitterer aka he is a blocker and nothing more. Tremble has upside but we have been saying that for a few years now ?? Is this the year Tremble puts its all together ?? Hopefully with proper coaching Tremble can reach his potential this season. Sanders is the future and the future is now. Sanders fell in the draft dramatically getting him in the fourth round was a steal if you base his rankings pre draft process. TE was a huge need and adding a receiving threat to the trio was necessary. I agree Sanders was my favorite pick of the class as well, I like Brooks just not at the spot we traded up to get him and I am still saying he will not be that impactful in year one as he returns from a full complete ACL Tear. Wallace is a project LB more of a run and hit guy an lacks proper Defensive IQ to properly read opposing QB's , offenses. Leggette I hope can become a solid NFL WR but again adjustment periods take time and having already tweaked a hammy is somewhat of a concern but hopefully its nothing throughout the year. Smith - Wade CB is my second favorite pick of the draft nickel CB but don't sleep on him on the outside guy is a player. As for Barrett seems more like a J. Chinn replacement hybrid undersized LB run and hit guy most likely seeing time on special teams to start the year and Crumedy is a depth piece at best that can supplement S. Tuttle on the roster after this season when Tuttle will be a cut in 2025 with a two year contract out saving $13 million and only counting $1.806 million in dead cap adios to Tuttle after this year never liked the signing and he has done nothing since he was brought here.
I definitely think we’re sleeping on Tommy tremble. The dude has progressed every year. I think sanders brings some juice to the offense, but hopefully we have two TE studs this year.
Tepper wanted a small quarterback and now y'all are stuck with Bryce Young aka Pat White from WVU. Now Kenny Pickett was scared to battle again Russ. So bum ass Kenny left and I'm glad he did. Let's Go Steelers Nation ✊🏾
Come back mid season to this comment and see if you still believe what you said. You can’t sit and say young is a bust after one year in the situation Bryce was in last year. The offense was in shambles the play calling was a repeat cycle play after play the run game was non existent the only WR that got separation was Adam there was no room for Bryce to succeed when you throw it to one guy every time teams pick that up but also it’s hard to make a play when your getting wrecked because no pass protection if you watched the games then you should know this.
He’s gonna be the 1,000 yard receiver Adam was last year. Hopefully he gets over 1,000. Next highest should be Leggette i can see him being the number 2 since he’s big and fast and can do some damage in the screen game. He should have at least 300-800 yard season.
Dave Canales was the one who constructed the offense around Geno smith for him to run, not the offense coordinator, and helped Russell Wilson a lot with his best season in Seattle
Chuba will do fine powering through an opening, which this new front line should improve. But when getting to the second level he puts his head down and tries to bull through, gets stopped. It's Brooks who seems to have the talent to cut and slash and break out.
Final 4 guys would be Chuba, brooks, miles and blackshear. Also.. it’s always bothered me that we don’t out Raheem in for like 4th and short situations. He seems a bit bigger than chuba and def miles. I don’t think any of the other RBs will make final roster. I hate that we brought in penny just because of his ties to Seattle.. it seems like there is no reason for it. Unless he can help coach, for the most part or something.
RU-vidr: "when Matt Corral DID play, he wasnt good anyways, even if it were the preseason.." .....Enter Bryce Young: RU-vidr. "Lets Go Bryce Young!! He needs a team around him!!" 🤣🤣🥰
Heres what i wanna hear: Bryce Young fans saying "See we told you hes that good!!" And heres what i refuse to hear..."its the blocking...the Separation, the Recievers, the Talent..."....
Bryce young is getting benched and I can’t wait for it, there’s way too much new QBs that are way better than him, he plays like a little girl and lacks confidence
I don’t think so. Maybe for one game especially if there’s even the slightest injury scare. But I think they’ll stick with him. Important for panthers to stick with him. I think canales will be good for Bryce if anything.
I think this asks the important question and decision. Of how patient the panthers are going to be. Especially in regards to growth. Regardless of outcome of this season there should be patience. This is a time of growth all together. Not immediate changes.
@@acllhes he can be all accurate all he wants , but he don’t got that fire in him and doesent know how to let go of the ball, not a fan so I’m good til they put the other QBs in
Response to the first question was sub par. Reasonable question although I don't agree with it. You would listen to press conferences if you are a big fan and invested when if you didn't like the vibes. Questing if Bryce can be the leader that a team will go into battle with is valid.
Hey, I like daily Panthers news as much as the next guy and this guy is serviceable, but he is kind of getting annoying and I say that for somebody who tends to share a lot of his points of view but you spend 10 minutes telling someone to watch a panther press conference if you don’t like it isn’t that kind of like the point of being a fan and how you make your money sorry if you’re not digging your job anymoreor if all the silly questions are too much but you’re getting paid to do this. I’ll take your place right now. I’ll do it happily.
As someone who was way too involved myself, I also see his point. Our team sucks ass. Treat it as such. You had mugs last season staging a march on BOA, while simultaneously holding season tickets. Those same people remain PSL owners for the upcoming season. Too many people bitching, and still paying inflated prices to attend games. Get a life. Find something else to do besides pay an incompetent ownership. It clearly isn't entertaining at this point. You wouldn't be bitching If you disagree.
I really believe we found our coach in Dave Canales. I really don't want to jump the gun but this guy has been trained by the right people. Pete Carroll. I really see that in him. I think it's going to be a good year
Piniero can let the door hit him in the ass. The only reason is % is good is becuz the Panthers stoppe dletting him kick ANYHTNG over 40 + yards lol and hes never been clutch...
I just wanna go on record to say that the culture that was built in our last Super Bowl run was built by Cam, and allowed by Rivera. I don’t think coaches build culture but the players they choose. We in the Bible Belt, has always been a “we don’t want players with any issues” teams. And the goody two shoes fans support it until we lose.
better play calling and a commitment to the run would've got us 4 more wins last year, REICH called pass plays 70% of the time...leaving the oline constantly dropping back which is a waste of guys like ICKY.
SEE YA Pineiero, dont let the door hitcha in the ass!~~! the only reason Pienieros % was good was becuz he wasn't even ALLOWED to kick anything over 50 lol and hes NEVER been clutch
@1:33 How the heck does someone all the way in England knows that the Panthers had Willis as the perfect coach ? He is 100% right and Let's Go Steelers ✊🏾
Not once have I looked at a super bowl winning team and thought "They definitely won the super bowl because they weren't nice". Teams win because of talent, because they focus on the little details, because they have a good coaching staff. The 2015 panthers werent successful because they weren't nice, the won games because they ran the damn ball, had good QB play, and had a disciplined defense.
