After MRI (skeletal muscles, no contrast agent) it was difficult for me to walk, I felt weak and dizzy and had slow and irregular heartbeat. Next day still in zombie state. MRI never again.
@@leviticacaz6899 That arrhythmia went off the next day, but I still couldn't work for another three days due to the fatigue, then it took one week to gradually improve almost to the state before MRI, although muscles haven't yet recovered completely (two months).
@@MrElectroniqueFreak you poor thing I'm so so sorry this happened. I should of done more research before today. I ended up feeling so slow and was falling and couldn't speak. I stopped the Mri. Not even within minute they got just a small image. But that magnet isn't for us humans. 😕. I feel off in my head still . But I felt so slow mentally. I'm glad your kind of feeling better. Can you do anything for your muscles ?. And do you feel dizzy from time to time ?

@@g3rbb Some people react to MRI scan with symptoms you've described. Usually such symptoms go away in a few days. Now I am three months after MRI and not noticing anything wrong except muscles, but there seems to be another cause (collagenopathy).
I had an MRI of the shoulder today. We got halfway and i had to stop. It was fine untill my body reached its “ energy absorption limit’. I could feel something was wrong and almost fainted. It was so intense I felt my whole torso warming up and was nauseating so bad! My thoughts were all over the place and I felt it was attacking my central nervous system. I stopped the scan. Feel like I have been fried. I wrote IMED Radiology and email asking for an explanation. Never again. If you feel something is wrong. STOP immediately
AP, I appreciate your comments. If I can delicately add…. A shoulder MRI exam doesn’t require waves anywhere close to an energy absorption limit. This is a simple procedure that is usually low dose. There can be other factors to explain an incident like this… such as a hot room, a reaction to the dye, high anxiety, or even food allergies. I don’t mean to refute your account, however my red flag alert has been activated.
Omg, I had such a similar reaction. My belly felt warm and I felt pressure on my chest like someone sitting on it. I never had strokes or anything I'm 28 years old too. I stopped the scan and got up slowly from it to talk to the person doing the scan and I couldn't talk and I started to slurr. They dismissed it was because of the MRI. But I never had anything like that happen to me.....
@@TheRadiologyCoachi suffer from tinnitus and loud sounds make it worse. I feel the ear plugs are barely enough and i had loud ringing afterwards. This isnt just anxiety i've also had loud ringing from other loud sounds such as a movie theater. There are rsr muffs certified safe for MRI and they should be offered.

I believe you are a very sensitive person( meant in the good way) I believe you Do you have any tipps on how you "recovered"? I have done like 8 mris in one year becuz i never went to the docrot in my life and then had a health trip and decided to get all my stuff checked out and fixed but after all those mris i felt so dry and like my thoughts are now a lot slower than before It feels like "it cooks your soul" almost is the best way i can describe it
I had a brain MRI and my top left side of the brain felt as my skin was being pulled away from my head. I with much certainty can tell were on my brain the pictures were being taken. I was not claustrophobic nor anxious and i know what i felt.
Finally, I meet someone else Carla. Me too! MRIs are excruciating. Wherever the magnet is being localized you know it and I know it. I had another one on Friday with gadolinium and I have not been able to walk, difficulty swallowing and thinking.
@@AmyEveGrace i actual had 3 more MRIs(spine ones) since the brain one and could feel the magnets stimulating certain nerves because I either felt the nerve or the nerve made me twitch etc
I suggest you bring ear muffs you van get oned certified safe. They gave me ear plugs but i have tinnitus and i have to avoid loud sounds. I had loud ringing and it was very uncomfortable during the test. I wont do again unless i can wear both ear plugs and ear muffs.
It has been over 2 months since MRI of brain without contrast. I still didnt get my normal balance. MRI had massive effect on heart, its not working well. Energy level became much much worse, any physical activity makes me very fatigue and weak, with further long 13 h sleep. Total run down of energy. Brains also changed, memory and cognitive ability much slower now:( Blood test didnt show anything, but Koagulation has changed, blood now is liquid APTL. I believe MRI killed neurons on masses. Doctors say I have to do total health check up, for my own money. It looks like "patient healed = customer lost". Corrupted medical society👎👎👎I was totally healthy before MRI, and after it my life changed into misery. No idea if it ever goes away
@@talalaltalalvlogs5181it has been over 4 months now since my brain MRI. No injection. Did heat holter monitoring before, and now repeated after MRI. Cardiologist said that heat rate has changed, heat now working too fast. Apparently magnetic field exposure touched brain tissues.and vessels, baked them and thus destroyed. Apart from that, MRI made my face ugly, since the electro magnetic radiation affects the brains, hormonal center - hipofize, hypothalamus. You cant recognize me before and after MRI. So drastic difference. I am so sad. I visited numerous Neurologists here to get conclusion with signature and stamp, that its sequence from MRI. So I could sue manufacturer and get reimbursement. Verbally all neurologists admit harm effect of MRI upon my health, however, in written they afraid put it down on paper. Instead, they say take antidepressants. I said you damaged my nervous system and now I must take toxic pills? Then they push go to psyhiatrist. In other world, doctors created this horrible situation for me. Made it to be unproved. Its mafia. Medical society is one big mafia, and MRI machine is a business, that will kill and destroy, yet brings money to manufacturer. Horrible!
I'm really sorry about it, and to be very honest, I don't know what to recommend you! Try to feel what's the best for you! I think they can do different way too, not only with MRI. But if you choosing to have MRI and when you're in, you need to start counting the minutes (1,2,3,4,......240 !!)! Make sure they will not going to do more till you counted number 240, which is 40 minutes!! And also make sure when they starting to give you the different MRI sounds together you not counting more than 5 minutes! (Before MRI practise at home to count the minutes, so when you are there, you will counting with your brain the right minutes without you have any alarm to not get to to long in MRI!)! When you have MRI, they give you a button which you can press if you not feeling well, so you can press the button when you believe they doing over 40 minutes MRI or more than 5 minutes the all sounds of MRI together! Zayan, what is very important to understand is that people that get MRIs or other x-ray examinations are already sick or experiencing symptoms. People tend to lay, blame their symptoms on the examination, when their conditions continue or worsen over time. I don’t agree that MRIs wreak havoc on their patients. It is extremely unusual, that these problems, arise or persist, and not the norm.
I think these doctors are doing too much un necessary, I do not know if it’s to get $$ from insurance. I was sent to get unnecessary colonoscopy, when the issue was as simple as eating more greens and healthy.
@@jenamaste131yeah they get paid for it Every single issue i had they sent me xray first and then maybe also mri Even when tendons are injured, there is no point in doing an xray if you have tendon problems, you dont see tendons in an xray so why even do an xray? Ah yes becuz they get money for it, thats why they deny the risks to not have to feel bad for it
I used dye like 7 years ago and I am fine. I had a headache for couple days but went away. Today I had an mri for my spine and after I went home I couldn't exercise because my chest was hurting. Oh well I had to get it in order to get cleared by my Dr and get paid Disability insurance
Those contrast IV liquids are irritants, capable of causing allergic reactions. I should know, after having one, and needed an injection of liquid concentrated Benadryl to correct the bodies reactions. It is dangerous to say these things are safe, when in fact there is a risk. It is irresponsible to make these procedures sound completely harmless.
I had an MRI on my left kidney which had swollen to twice the normal size. I was peeing stones every few weeks. After the MRI, I was really kidney sore and peed a cloudy yellow color for 2 weeks. Now my kidney is normal sized and I've had no stones since. What gives?
I just had an mri I feel weak a have diarrhea for 3 days and counting I lost like 9 or 10 lbs that is good I don’t feel like eating nothing did anybody else get it is one of the side effects did MRI before it did not lest these long if I can tell you how long it lasted I will.

4 months ago I did MRI of brain withoit injection. After this I turned completly ill. MRI affected my heart, holter heart monitoring showed tachicardy. Never had heart issues before MRI. My face has become ugly. Day by day I started noticing changes in appearance. Strong magnetic field destroyed my hormonal system so badly, that people dont recognize me on streets. I have been to numerous Neurologists here, asking their conclusion with stamp and signature, that all these were result after MRI. Instead, dictors verbally admitted the harm, yet affraid to evidence in in written. Folks! Medical society is mafia. Now they send me to.psychiatrist to take toxic pills. They created horrible situation for me, and now to avoid court and lawyers, they try make me be a frazy patient. Folks! Whoever faced same hell, respind to me. Lets sue the hell machine manufacturer.
