I feel like I need to clear this up because I’m seeing it in the comments. When I’m talking about long albums I am not talking about a specific artists like Taylor Swift or whoever. I was just talking in general, like I said some of my favorite artists I think have albums that would benefit the quality by cutting some of the tracks that felt not needed to me. I watched the video back and realized I sounded way too passionate and sounded like I hate an album automatically if it’s 30 tracks or more🤣 which is not the case. I have reacted to long albums and long songs and thoroughly enjoyed them and will continue to do so as I LOVE music. It’s just my opinion that sometimes when an album is really long it seems like the artist can lose some focus and choose quantity over quality. No use in being disrespectful to each other in the comments about it. Love you all and thanks for your support ❤️❤️❤️
Oh. i'm sorry. I didn't mean to criticize or attack your take//opinion. I just wanted to share my opinion as well. just to have a discussion on it rather making a mean comment. I believe there's no right or wrong with this. to each his own. and that's what's fun about music.
@@rloyBBlet’s be very serious if artist are going to release and album and none of the music is nothing related to album then you know it’s going to not be good “ TAYLOR SWIFT” for an instant she does an album and nothing resembles the album what’s so ever
Thanks for your reaction ❤ I feel that we don’t appreciate her, the way she deserves, here in the US. I’ve been a fan since Be the One. She’s amazing. Check her other 2 studio albums. Future Nostalgia it’s just a masterpiece.
“I’m available, Dua, if you need me” - well, I can’t blame a guy for trying. Dua’s a goddess! 😂 ✨ I love when Americans enjoy her music. She hasn’t caught the US audience yet, for some reason… but she rules the dance-pop scene here in the UK. 🇬🇧 You must, must, must listen to her second album, Future Nostalgia. It’s pure bliss! I honestly can’t describe to you just HOW much of a masterpiece it is.
She is from Kosovo 🇽🇰 . She was born in uk though and lived there til 11 then came with her parents to live in Kosovo til she was 16 and then returned to uk to pursue her dreams for music. She has now a festival she made in Kosovo where the biggest music stars come to perform each year.
for maria i guess shes thanking her current partner's ex for making him who he is "and ready" to date her or something like that. lol the phrasing on genius is confusing af haha
first of all, if you listen to your albums in order or in reverse order, you can see how much you have grown and matured. you should listen to future nostalgia+moonlight edition and especially their debut album. you can really see how much he's changed and "how different his songs are." also, you look like Mert Alas he is photographer + Dua's friend
I think we became a society with such a short attention span that we see a song that is 4 minutes or longer and we already judge it as too long before listening to it. so it's the same with album tracks. I assume you meant Taylor's album (you mentioned 30 tracks and 2 hour long album. which is exactly Taylor's album). maybe because i'm a Taylor fan, so i'm used to long albums and long track lengths. because Taylor's been doing it since her beginning. if we, the swifties, see a 5+ minute song we get excited because we know we're in for a ride of a song. I actually miss albums being long tracks. people see 31 tracks and they go "oh no. it's too much" I disagree with that. as Taylor's latest release is 31 tracks. I love it. I am biased because i'm a "swiftie" and I would've cut more than a few songs from tortured poets but as a fan, i'd rather Taylor giving me as much as she wants to. I have multiple skips on the taylor's album. but I rather have them than not. I don't like 2 minute songs. sometimes they work, but to me they feel like they were created to make viral songs. what i'm trying to say is, I don't like the culture of short songs and 10 track albums. I love when albums used to be 20-25 tracks. there are exceptions of course. there's no rules in it. there are amazing 10 track albums and for me there are 25 track albums that are amazing. a lot of the critic I see for Taylor's album is that all the songs sound the same. but I don't see it. I see why general public would hear that, but if you listen to the songs you feel the difference. and with this album all the songs on this dua album sound the same to me. this dua album was so boring to me. so it is a very short album but so boring. so number of tracks doesn't make an album better or worse. i'm not trying to say tortured poets is a 10/10 album. it's not. far from it. but I feel people judge it too soon. with Taylor albums you need a few listens to get it. it doesn't catch you on first listen.
Hi, I love your channel. Can you react to the group Little mix (described as the biggest girl group in the world of this generation) please, they are incredible!!❤
Wes what do i have to do to get you to react to Rachel Chinouriri’s debut album A Devastating Turn of Events?? It’s like alt indie rock pop i think you’d love it
overstayed your welcome is a wild thing to say, my favorite artist will ALWAYS be welcome to release her music whenever and however she wants. why don’t you just listen to today’s hot hits, listen to singles, I’m sure they never last too long and always capture your attention
@@WesLinkz you know it’s really ok, if you think the album is long for you, but just don’t phrase like it’s a fact or something, phrase it like it’s your opinion, bc some people love long albums, the swifties, they love the break down the content Taylor gave us, and we are more than happy to listen to a longer album. I don’t mean to be disrespectful, but saying 30 songs and “overstayed ur welcome” sounds like direct shots fired at TS, I have to defend her.
@@AlexandrPrinceI’m sorry but 30 songs is WAY too long and unrealistic, it’s almost money hungry. There’s no reason for her to be doing that much - even if it is concept or telling a story, there should be many ways to condense it down, 30 songs is ridiculous. It is impossible to remember every melody from 30 different songs so there really is no point in making a 30 song album unless it’s a revisit of all your past classics and songs. It’s honestly looking like she’s trying too hard, especially since she just released an album last year.
I think this album is inspired by Light Years from Kylie Minogue. But Light Years is more interesting. Radical Optimism is a good album, but it lacks one anthem.
