If I recall correctly, you say lying down when taking about people, it might be any animal not just people, and laying down is for inanimate objects. Edit: Googled it, to lie down is to do it to oneself basically, I could say "I want to lie down" or "the tiger is lying down". To lay down is to do it to something, so "Lay down your sword" or "the pen is laying on the table". If I understood correctly.
as a vrchat sleeper, the q3 itself is the most comfotable headset i ever slept in with, out of my q2 and pico4 both have bobovr. still waiting on the s3 pro strap. but i guess the stock is king when it comes to sleep.
When I first saw that $20 strap it looked just like a dark version of the Meta jockstrap that comes with the Quest 3! So I agree that if u really want to LAY down with the Quest, just use the stock strap! May I say it’s great to see you still rocking that Oblik facial interface; I’m still lovin’ mine!!!!
The reason why I changed the original Q3 head strap is because it irritated my bald head with the places where the straps intersect. Perhaps this one has less pressure on the back of the head and irritates less someone who doesn't have hair. Might give it a try.
It's pretty cheap and w Amazon you can return free. If you try it I'd love to know. I wonder if those ribs on the silicone might not feel so great on skin though.
Lie down is when you make your own body horizontal (perhaps for a nap), lay down is when you place another object or person in a horizontal orientation. In common usage there is overlap, though.
Great Review, Apparently the Razer Quest 2 strap is a marked improvement over the stock straps, I was hoping this was the same kind of improvement. We'll keep waiting I guess.
I actually do rock the stock strap with a similar silicone back. It provides the comfort I need and I can get it tight enough for things like Thrill of the Fight and still lay down in my bed.
Actually...you can go into settings - accessibility -mobility - and turn on adjust height. This lets you position apps for lying down. Kinda nice to be able to watch RU-vid lying in bed...as I am doing right now.@@jaybratt
Seems good, I don't like the og strap bc it gets dirty and has not much friction and the material starts getting fluffy after not much use. This seems to fix those things, would buy it immediately if it had a second strap from ear to ear
I think there is a huge improvement to the stock strap in especially one important part. The way you make the stock headstrap tighter is a pain in the ass for people with longer hair. Doing it while playing is nearly impossible without pain. And it also quite hard to get it to the tightest settings. The new elastic material is a big improvement. Worth 30 bucks? I dont know. But that issue above was my main reason to buy a new headstrap
Well it is $15 cheaper than the official strap from meta so maybe if your original strap gets ruined you can get this a little cheaper than a replacement.
Still looks a bit better than the stock strap imho. Add a 10000mahr pack to the back strap with a couple of velcro straps, and use a short 0.5m battery cable and it should balance the headset better and help take a lot of weight off you face.
can you try the KKCOBVR Q3 PRO Battery Head Strap 10000mh in a video. i recently replaced my bobovr with this one and i think it is a very underrated head strap. its cheaper, strong battery than m3, and has tons of adjustablility
@@jaybrattcan’t wait, it’s gonna be interesting seeing how our opinions stack up. i didn’t have any real issues with the bobo, i just felt like i couldn’t get as close to the lenses as id like even with my interface as close as possible. mostly refunded it due to the battery not really extending the life as long as id like for the price point

Could you do a video testing if the a2 headphones fit the quest 3 and check if a headphone Jack extender will work as a viable option to reach to the other side of the quest 3 where the new headphone Jack port is
I have it, it’s very nice. If you have the razer strap for the quest 2, you can use it with this since razer doesn’t make an adapter. It’s worth it for me.
@@jvl07_ it’s very comfortable in my opinion because you can lay down or sit back with it on and the best part for me is how easily you can take it off and it put it back on. I can quickly grab the quest and put on my head with no adjustments. It works good for me
S3 is so freakin heavy though. It is heavier than M3, feels like wearing a brick on your head. The opposite of lightweight and portable. Fan also is mostly useless.
