Is it Permissible to work for an Interest based Bank? - Dr Zakir Naik 

If you're not Muslim that means more opportunities for you for bank job :) But for a Muslim anything related to interest is not allowed.. But he said Islamic bank.. if you know how Islamic bank works you'll like it.. coz it's not a burden for middle class people who take loan when the fail in business...

It depends on whether the business is halal or haram. For example, if I invest in an alcohol company where only profit is present then it is haram profit. But if I invest in a furniture company where only profit is present then it is halal. And there are some other exceptions as well. So could you elaborate further on what the business does?

Beekay @brother there is a plenary dichotomy between zakat and interest. In simple words interest makes richer more rich and zakat makes poor to rich

Zakat becomes obligatory when you have a specific amount for an year, halal or haram is not a condition. You must pay if you meet the amount criteria. Same is the case with Prayer and Hajj. You must pray 5 times a day whether you earn halal or haram. Earning halal or haram is a serious matter which must be sorted out but that doesn't exempt us from the obligations.

What I know is if you don't have any other possible way to earn you can continue with bank n with all efforts you at the same time look for other job.. even if other job is paying you very less but you can feed your family with that you have to lv the bank job... You either have to compromise with this dunya or with your Deen.. you decide what's important to you..

No, it is haram because even in a Non-Muslim country there are many other jobs besides banking which are halal. I live in a Non-Muslim country and there are so many halal jobs.

@@basharatali938 I have to disagree with you brother. In Non-Muslim countries, there are other halal jobs. A person can get a job outside of banking.

Firstly make sure that you don't add music because all the music instruments except the duff and the tambourine are haram. Second, if you are a girl make sure you wear the proper Islamic clothing. It is better to not show your face in the video for Islamic reasons related to modesty. Thirdly don't put ads in your video because there are many ads on youtube which are haram such as ads where the women are not properly covered and sometimes even alcohol ads. One way to make money without ads is by sponsors and Patreon. And lastly don't sponsor haram companies.

I believe it still haram. Because, that same IT department belongs to the same bank that function through riba or interest .

Yes, as I believe, it is haram. You are supporting Haram activities, and taking salary from the Haram activities, you know.

There are many scholars as well who don't approve of the Islamic banking system. But still this doesn't allow us to work fearlessly in a conventional bank. Look for another job, keep doing this job (if there's no other income source) and repent and think yourself guilty and sincerely search for an alternate job. That's what I heard from Scholars.

No all the central banks as I know are all interest-based. So it is haram

N depend on the person. .......how quickly he want to quit the job if he is damn serious and searching the new job in sha Allah he will get the job because of his faith on Allah. ....but till the time he didn't got the job. ...then he can do some other job which is halal. ........for tht period of time. ......because have u worked in bank. .which is Haram the time u know tht u should stop. .....

pravesh ghoora no he can't feed. ..even he don't have any aukat or status to feed but I know one power who will feed. ....he is very merciful and great I know in sha Allah he will feed to him even to his family

That's not what he means. Banks earn there money from interest and they pay his wages from what they earn (from interest).

It's a major sin but you can't say they will go hell. Maybe they get a new job and repent. Or maybe for their circumstances they have to work there, Allah knows
