Is It Possible to Beat Kirby Planet Robobot Meta Knightmare Returns Without Jumping? 

How very fitting that Meta Knight succeeded where Kirby failed due to trusting in his own strength instead of giving in to the mechanic temptation...

After I watched it, I realized how cool it actually is that you can beat a game without using one of the main mechanics

I suggested this one in the last video, and actually tried it myself. You are officially better at this game than me, sir.

Brawl Metaknight is so powerful God removed his ability to jump, and even then he broke the game with shuttleloops.

I would like to mention something for a future jumpless challenge The dodge in Forgotten Land is a jump replacement, just hold the direction you need to go This is atleast the case in the demo Also sword still has rising slash the slide dash activated by crouching/guarding into the jump button The demo is beatable without jumping and only pressing hover twice I have been corrected, but im lazy so check the replies In level 2 after the vending machine section, just dodge and hold down right against the wall and fence Its sadly impossible to grab the capsule, atleast in the demo

Btw I will say now, for fun I minimized jumps necessary for the DEMO of forgotten land, and only 2 were necessary, both in the hover tutorial, because kirby has a built in jump replacement with his bounce/roll type of thing when crouching. Which alone takes care of most obstacles, alongside things like cone having its own jump replacement. For the hover tutorial you also need to use the sword, which can maintain height in the air, and let you turn around easier, letting you get to slightly higher locations where you can just jump to the next ledge both times instead of jump +2 hovers, overall skipping 4 hovers, making the jump total 2 instead of 6.

Nice ! I actually tried this myself some time ago and ended up using shuttle loop flying a lot more than you did. The inputs are quite easy after some time, and it really came in handy in a couple of sections, especially in the beginning of the game.

Hey, I beat the Forgotten Land Demo with only 2 jumps: use the dodge and its pretty broken. Also, press A twice while blocking and Sword as your ability. You will need to combo Sword + a puff once for the Float tutorial

The bosses could probably have been handled much more easily, if you had put your 4 additional abilities to use (the ones on the touchscreen). Unless you were forced to restart the game *that* many times, you would easily have enough points to use them, possibly more than once. In addition, you probably could have cleared a few obstacles more easily by using the speed boost with your jump replacements.

I wonder if no-jumping in DededeTour would be a good April Fools...

I have an idea for a second rule that you can use to make your kirby jumpless life easier. Jump's that are present in the spisific game's "big gimick" (friend circle, hypernova, robobot aormor, ect) and the juming tutorial's, don't count to as a true jump. So you can jump all you want until you get youre first useful copy ability.

Let's go was waiting for this one for a long time. Btw I tried Kirby and the forgotten land demo no jump challenge. Spoiler: is not possible but Kirby do have some jump replacement like the dodge tool ( let's use skip the jump tutorial in the first level and all the low stairs cases) is something that doesn't need a copy ability. The next obstacle is the high stairs cases to a leader. Even if we consider that we got sword and his up splash is legal ( button combination: crouch+ jump then jump) is does not help: 2 jump ( jump then hovering to the leader) or on jump if up slash sword is legal. The rest of level 1 is easy. Level 2: is possible jump less but very tricky. At the vending machine passage go straight to grid and the grass stairs case. Go into that corner backflip and you can do the jump. VLC mouthful Kirby is another jump replacement whit his ground pound and is made useful. Proced the level as normal and ate the boss fight stay ase cuter Kirby is important. Take the star after mini boss to proceed. Go then to the leader whit the VLC thing in the vine. You can't go on the very top of the platform whit doge roll ( but if up slash sword is legal is much easier). Do a tricky backflip into the second platform and use cuter (whit the charge is easier) to cute the vine. Whit VLC mouthful Kirby you can finish the level. Boss fight: no jump required, dodge at the perfect timing make a witch time effect. Hope it helps for the actual game CmeeCraft

Since you did Planet Robobot EX mode (essentially) and Triple Deluxe, why not try Dededetour? I know that, with the lack of Super Dedede Jump, it may be pointless. *BUT* there are basically Secret Exits hidden in bonus rooms if you get stuck, meaning more content to see you attempt those! Eh? Wanna give it a shot?

Going (shuttle loop, upward sword stab, shuttle loop, upward sword stab, repeat) will give Meta Knight infinite height if you press quick enough.

If Kirby 64 comes out for NSO this month to commemorate Forgotten Land’s release, I would say to give that one the no jump challenge. I know it’s not possible, but I can think of a couple moves that would definitely help. Edit: Well, if you still get a chance to do 64 before NSO, I’d still be down for it.

Shuttle loop was also one of wing Kirby’s moves in most games that wing Kirby appears in, though you have to be near an enemy to activate it with wing kirby

The only main 3DS Kirby game you haven’t done jumpless on is Kirby’s Extra Epic Yarn

I normally would've aske for guest star mage sisters... but they are easier than magolor... flamberge has 2 fantastic jump replacements that combo immediately, and francisca can fly infinitely like sword could in return to Dreamland, but better.

With how much Nintendo can hate fans at times, I expect Nintendo start making games dedicated AGAINST challenges
