@@cuddlequeen3225 Wasn't the intention, I've just seen enough 64 speedruns to tell that he's pretty new to this, and I was just curious what it'd be like if someone more familiar with the game tried it.
This would be an interesting concept for a game designed for speed running. Let the player select the game speed. Higher speed is obviously faster, but only if you can still beat the levels.
Due to the game running at 400% speed, if it were scaled correctly, then it should SLOW DOWN by a factor of 4. Which would be a time of 24 hours, 22 minutes and 25 seconds. Dead last even when N64 and VC are included. 16 hours behind EMU player Carthu. Still, an entertaining video.
Did your math wrong... Actually, 400% means it is 4 times sped up, which means to compare to normal speed, you are going to take up 4 times that long!! It took ya over a day! (but sped up 4× as fast, so it was only over 6 hours...)
You should do this, but its only Mario Thats fast, or the opposite where everything else is fast and Mario is slow. It shouldn't be too hard to edit Mario's speed
12:37 sometimes when you drop enemies/mobs? down you go through the wall and fall out the world(only noticed this in Tall Tall Mountain). I use to have that happen to me with the purple enemy.
If you did the run when the game is running 400% faster you should multiply your time by 400 because it should take 400% less time if the game is running 400% faster. If you slowed the game back to normal speed, it would take over 2000 hours to rewatch this run :)
i enjoyed this vid as much as one by pointcrow or smallant, and you definitely deserve as much views as they get its crazy how your touch grass/water videos blew up, but this one and some of your other ones deserve the same hype as well 👍subbed
