It’s actually possible to figure out Mew’s Hidden Power type from the times Mew uses it in the video. Against Jasmine’s Steelix, HP is super effective, so it must be HP Water, Ground, Fighting, or Fire. Later, against Lance’s Aerodactyl, HP is neutral. HP Water would be super effective, Fire would be not very effective, and Ground would have no effect. Because of this, Mew’s HP must be Fighting.
@@lyrimetacurl0 Hidden power is not another word for metronome. Hidden power is a move Metronome can use, and Hidden Power is a move on it's own, where it has a hidden type for each individual pokemon, every pokemon has a unique hidden power based on a certain value only it has.
It's really odd how mew who isn't that good as shown here actually was used to create mewtwo one of the strongest pokemon ever. From the bottom to the top I guess. With some genetic modification anyway.
Mew isn’t terrible it’s bad here because it can only use metronome but it can learn any tm including earthquake psychic, roost (basically recover for mew) and ice beam or basically whatever you want
Canonicaly, Mew is like the strongest pokemon at the date of release He also has the highest base stats. However, that changed when some Scientist created Mewtwo
26:20 Nathaniel Bandy: This means my next three moves will have to one hit OK the rest of lance's Pokemons and there's no way this will happen *Nathaniel Bandy gets 3 one hit KO moves* Nathaniel Bandy: Holy crap, we actually did it!
Fissure is like sheer cold it's a 1 hit KO and lands if the users Pokemon is higher level than the targets Pokemon Mew was level 100 max level Reds Venusaur was level 77 So fissure would have hit no matter what
30:16 Everyone goes hyper when Mew uses Fissure with only one PP. Venusaur: Whatcha gonna do, bitch? Mew: SUPER DUPER HYPER PUNCH PLUS ULTRRRRRRAAAAAAAAA!
That ending was the most magical thing I’ve ever seen. You have one final metronome. You get fissure, a 30% accuracy move that guarantees an OHKO, and it hits.
@@wolfetteplays8894 XD Gale of Darkness has literally three tiny spots in the entire game where you can find wild Pokemon, each with three different possibilities. The highest level is around 21 for wild, and Mt Battle doesn't have even leveling, making it hard to keep up with training. All this plus the factor of all battles being double battles and lv 100 seems like the fevered dream of an absolute madman. Highest I have is a 92 Ursaring.
I just got my new in my yellow version. Also, I just found out that in gen 1, metronome can roll metronome again and thus, roll for another move. You can see where this is going....
Wem used Metronome! Wem used Metronome! Wem used Metronome! Wem used Metronome! Wem used Metronome! Wem used Metronome! Wem used Metronome! Wem used Metronome! Wem used Metronome!
Super Game Master It’s a series that happens after the release of every new Pokémon game, and it’s a Pokémon battle tournament where you can only use metronome.
I have debated that but frankly I am not qualified to attempt that. I'll leave the speedrunners to figure that out since they still actively are trying to lower the minimum
Wow Nathaniel. Those Ancient Power and Fissure moments were reminiscent of Mr. Stake against Misty’s Starmie and against Red. Both this challenge and Nuzlocke with Meganium were so stupid that they just HAD to work!! Congratulations, Bandy!
This is the same thing as letting your siblings pick the moves and scrolling and randomly clicking with you eyes closed except metronome has more options
30:12 Nathaniel Bandy: Am I really gonna take out this Venusaur with one more PowerPoint *Nathaniel Bandy takes out the Venusaur with one more powerpoint* Nathaniel Bandy: OH MY GOD, OH MY GOD, it actually happened!
(5:27-5:43) "With 3 moves left..." Okay, you got Mind Reader there, then Ember afterwards, but then you're officially out of Power Points? What was the third move then? (8:17) LOL, blowing yourself up is inevitable when you're spamming Metronome. (12:54) Wow, that's pretty impressive to land the finishing blow with Rapid Spin. (30:18) FISSURE!!! What an epic ender with your final Power Point!
You should really get in touch with James from the odd1sout he loves Nintendo and you are great at drawing so is he, I really hope you see this (probably not)
0:04 To be honest, Pokemon is my favorite Video game franchise with Mario being my second. And that clutch Fissure at the end was the last way I would have expected you to win this challenge.
You could only use neutral attack (not special) and up smash, everything else deals recoil damage. And I think some of the spirits would be horrible to fight.
Nathaniel used Bandy Bomb! It's super effective! Bathaniel used Nandynome! **Does Bandy Bomb** It's super effective! Nathaniel used Critical Carl Car Call Nathaniel healed by 50hp! Bathaniel fled to his boulders- err I mean rocks.
THAT INSANE LUCK AT THE END OWAHHHH This was super fun and entertaining to watch, thank you so much for creating this and going through the game like this~!
Nathaniel, ever heard of GIgaleak? This is the reason why there so many prototypes of popular games like Super Mario Kart, Yoshi's Island, DS Pokemon and more.
In the 3DS games, Body Slam would do double damage and never miss against a target who used Minimize. That particular attempt could have gone way worse.
I remember one time I was fighting one of the elite four in, I believe, one of the 3ds games, and they used Metronome and got Roar of Time. That was fun
By gen 8, metronome is both insanely good, and horribly bad. The colossal amount of moves means there’s less chances to get good moves, but because of all the amazing new moves added, it can sweep powerful teams with only a bit of luck
