If you have any questions feel free to ask in the comments :] I'll put anything I want to add here: *"Will Dream lose his last canonical life?"* This video was made with the assumption that dream dying would not count as his final canon life. I think this is something everyone can have their own opinion on. My logic is that Dream died twice during Tommy's visit, so if he dies in the lava again to get out, it wouldn't be any different than when he died in lava during the visit. Something else to note is how apparently Wilbur made a Reddit post containing how many lives each member has, and Dream's is question marks instead of a number, so its possible that Dream isn't even on his last canonical life. Clearly the script is all that will determine this, but I saw some comments bringing up canon lives and wanted to clarify this :] *"Killing a guard with harming potions?"* I don't believe that getting gear would help you that much. Even with a good pickaxe, the obsidian will take you _around an hour_ to break when the mining fatigue is applied. Even if you broke blocks, some of them will trigger the guard's stasis chambers and they will hunt you down, you will not be able to escape before they find you. The guard also probably has a Guard Key on them, but only they know where to drop it for it to be useful. *"Getting help from others by having someone visit and someone follow them in with invisibility?"* The visit process is way over 8 minutes just to get to Dream, the person with invisibility would have to use a few more potions to stay invisible, whether it be drinking or splashing it will make a loud noise, the Warden will not let that go and will find the invis user. You would also have to be very close to the visitor to make sure you don't get locked behind a door. And lastly since every area is so small, the Warden will surely notice the potion particles at some point. *"Make a nether portal out of the cell's obsidian?"* Lighting a portal requires a 3 tall space, which only exists near the back of the cell. While it's possible that you can use the lectern to catch fire and carry the fire over to the back, fire runs on Random Ticks, meaning that it can destroy the lectern faster than you can mine it, and it's also possible that you will lose the item in the fire when carrying it over. There is too much risk with only 1 lectern. Chests and Item Frames don't catch fire. If you managed to light a portal, without outside help, you would be teleported to the prison's nether portal, which is also surrounded in obsidian. If you go back in the portal, you will appear in the Main Warden's Office, but you will not be able to escape from that room without mining a lot of obsidian, which will take hours. Awesamdude visits the prison often, so you would easily get caught, and even if you DID break obsidian, there are many many observers that will get triggered if you break obsidian, and then the guards will get teleported there and will hunt you down. If you got help from outside friends, theoretically you could tell them your coordinates and have them light a portal at the corresponding Nether coords, and go through and appear outside of any prison areas. But I was told that apparently Awesamdude accounted for this and somehow made a way for this to be impossible. *"Tommy could have particles turned off?"* You can see Dream get particles after not having them, and this happens without Tommy changing any settings. You can also see Tommy's particles. *"There are multiple Elder Guardians"* Yeah there are many of them, _but this doesn't mean they are all in the same place._ While their 50 block radius is large, it would not cover the whole prison. The guardians are very likely spread out under the prison, so that every area can be affected by them. There is probably only 1 elder guardian under the main cell, but even if there were 2, the best way the cooldowns could be spread out is 30 seconds, which still lets you mine everything in the video. I also just put like 20 elder guardians directly under me in 1.16.4, and i was able to die and mine a chest and have a few seconds before mining fatigue was inflicted on me. I did this multiple times. *The number of elder guardians does not matter* But the method shown at the end of the video will hardly be affected by mining fatigue, so it doesn't matter how many there are. ----------------------------------------------------------------- Update on the weirdness with Dream not getting the effect: I saw this clip just now, it seems like the elder guardian is working correctly in the cell now, but that doesn't change the method showcased in this video ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-vi7BgVhkegg.html YOOOO YOU CAN SEE THE BED HERE! I have no clue what's going on here, but it's actually right on top of the room! this might prove my string-breaking method! ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-vi7BgVhkegg.html I brought up slime blocks possibly being used to push Dream into the chute, but slime blocks can be mined instantly. I don’t think awesamdude would overlook something like this, so I actually think that the alternation of where Dream drops down is caused by manual movement by Dream himself. It’s just strange how he gets pushed against the backside of the wall both times, whenever there’s no hole in the chute on that side of a wall, which would point to a slime block being used, but maybe it’s a fence or something that pushes him into that side. I do not have a replica of the prison. The cell in this video is simply rebuilt off of what is seen during Tommy's visit. The chute respawn system shown during the string breaking section was hypothetical, I don't know what it actually looks like. Cscuile likely remade the main room by looks as well. At 9:19 i mentioned a "building up method." I completely missed this clip until now, i used to have that method as part of the video, but figured it was no good. Basically you reset your fatigue by dying, then grab the chest, lectern, and glowstones. You place the chest as far up the chute as you can and put the other items in it. You then die and build up with the lectern and glowstone. If done right you would have the dispenser right on top of you. I took this out because it didn't bring anything good to the table, all you could do is easily break the respawn system IF it was at that level, which it probably is not. Cscuile's method is better than this because of how flexible it is, and adding the infinite water to it, even if a piston were to go off and erase your water source, you could go back and get another. I can't believe i missed this until just now (1/30/21) lmao A cool addition I think Awesamdude could add to combat the Cscuile method, is adding sponges on the sides of the chute. When water is placed it will get sucked up by the sponge, and while we have access to infinite water, Awesamedude can add an observer looking at that sponge, which, when the sponge becomes wet sponge, will activate the guards.
Why kill someone to see if they have anything in their inventory? Just trap them in a 1x1 space, load 36 boat items above them via dispenser, and drop them onto the player. If they pick up all of them, they have nothing. Then have them put all of them back into a hopper, funneling them somewhere that the system can detect them.
@@Squilly4 I didn't mean offhand. It's like when you want to craft something in your inventory, you first have to pick it up and move it to the crafting area. When you pick it up while collecting boats, then after you got the boats, you tell awesamdude that you now start dropping back the boats and then you can place that item back to its slot.
My idea is to mine into the elder guardian chambers and kill them, after that you mine from the top at the position where dreams prison cell is while draining out the lava that was there using buckets and destroying the dispensers, also a better idea when low amounts of ppl are online. Break dream out but before doing that, destroy the thing that he spawns at just in case he dies, get dream out and get him most of the stuff back..come back to the prison and destroy the controls and remove the evidence Edit: most of this won't take that long the only things that will take long are the elder guardians. Also please don't judge me cuz it's my opinion and I'm also on tommyinnits side here

It’s a weird situation. Ranboo has a strange visit with the dream-like ending (no pun intended lol), but then BBH visits a few hours later and Dream is still there and says that no one else has visited besides Tommy, but THEN there’s proof recently shown that Ranboo’s visit was real, but Dream was there when BBH visited. It seems like he’s still there, and Ranboo hallucinated at the end of his visit or something idk
@@Lordgrayson no he is not, ranboo had a dream like the guy who replied before me did. ranboo explained it as a lucid nightmare, as i see it ranboo was having a reply with his own voice and a day dream while walking. Of course we won’t figure this out till dream tells us what the nonsense is if he will even tell us but that clip is all the info we have.
The clip of Ranboo visiting Dream might has been a dream. When BBH visited him about 3 hours later he said he didnt have visitors in a while. The names of the books where not there as well. The item frame was at Rnaboo's POV invisible, at BBH's POV visible. AND the obsidian and everything else was still in place. Dream refered to himself in the 3rd person and to the voice that Ranboo heard in the 1st person.

Story wise, I honestly want Dream to stay in the prison for a while. We've had him as a main villain for a while so I'd rather he'd stay away while the egg stuff happens to let some other people get the spotlight. Also after such a hard earned victory, it would feel cheap if Dream just broke out so soon after.
I disagree, the thing about the egg stuff is that honestly a lot of people don’t like it because it’s just an egg and canonically they have a nuke that can pretty much one shot it. And considering that Rambo is still being manipulated by dream, technoblade owes a favor, and dream said that he was bring back both Wilbur and Jschatt and the fact that Wilbur’s last words inside of Tommy stream where “you could not even leave me dead” makes me think they’re going to have something like the sinister six from spider-man. So kind of disagree with the “hard earned” ending. They Just won with the power of friendship which is very lazy writing.
@@thiccbroniggboithethird872 They didn't win with the power of friendship. Hell, Nikki and Jack Manifold saved Tommy despite wanting to kill him What really happened is that Dream suffered from the consequences of his actions: By manipulating everyone, and hurting everyone, they ended up being done with his bullshit
@@rainydeestar Nikki and Jack manifold didn’t save Tommy despite wanting to kill him they saved tuboo and Tommy was there. They’ve talked about this multiple times. if it wasn’t for tubbo, Tommy would be in hell because nobody cares about him. They’ve also talked about how it was more about saving tubbo than people being pissed at dream though they say it did play a factor for most. So In conclusion yes, they won through the power of friendship.
@@thiccbroniggboithethird872 they won it because, as dream said, he cut all ties, he made sure he had no friends, made sure he had no pets, made sure he had no allies so that they couldn’t be used against him. But the fact he had no allies meant he only had enemies, turning the server against him, (aside from the few people that were neutral). Dream dug his own grave so while I agree with you about the egg and the sinister 6 it was not lazy writing.
@@Implodent well the main problem (respawn point) isn't exactly known because the respawn mechanism isn't revealed, so part of this video could very well be wrong.
@@Implodent well yeah but the problem with this is that dream cant escape this way lore-wise because it would recuire him dying and then he would be canonically dead
Why doesn’t someone just go to the right coordinates in the nether and then teleport to dream? Maybe Technoblade can do it because he owes dream a favor.
@@Squilly4 Couldn't techno just destroy the main entrance (in the nether) portal? If it happens to be off in the Warden's Entrance Area, Sam would have to push the button and activate the portal, go in and find Techno in the nether, by then, he could've blew it up, made a new portal with Dream's co-ordinates and left with him.
yeah that clip was awesome, and revealed some things we didn't know about, like how the bed is just a few blocks above the main cell room, which wasn't what i was expecting :]
I don't know if you know this but after that Tommy's stream a lot changed sam did decrease the elder guardian's range after speaking to tommy in one stream after visiting the prison
Yeah I agree, I saw some videos of people saying to have someone follow a visitor while having invisibility, but you would have to be careful to not let your particles get seen, and there’s no way you would get to dream before needing to drink another potion, which would be very loud.
@@Squilly4 They're one point where the visitor would need to use a potion, in which invisibility could be used again, matching the potion the visitor uses to hide the sound, but theres another issue. The potion the visitor uses is a fire resistance potion, which is required to get past the fire bridge without taking damage. Taking damage would alert the guard and could possibly kill them due to the amount of damage lava does. A totem won't work since the totem's activation makes a very loud noise and the fire res of the totem lasts for only a few seconds. Using a splash potion also wont work since they are louder than drinking potions and may accidentally splash the visitor and/or guard, revealing them being there
I don’t believe there are any times Tommy drank a potion to get through the visit process, it was just splash potions operated by Awesamdude. But if you could mask the sound, Awesamdude has his own paths he goes through, the invisible person could follow him through. This is all not possible in reality though.
@@chill562 we don't exactly know how many lives he has. Wilbur posted something on reddit that shows how many lives people have left and when it came to dream it was just a question mark.
For all the time we’ve seen techno in there, the barrier has never been up, but I also don’t think there’s a chance that they would use the exploit anyway.
@@mobilegamesonly3170 Because the Badlands are now officially the eggpire, so they ' ll hunt him down to their own cell, which should have a crying obsidian line crossing it.
@@brooks5713 That ranboo thing was a dream because there is way to many odd things that happened. If that's not what your refering to then...what are you talking about?
The elder guardians could technically be on a minecart that slowly goes around the prison and that’s why Dream didn’t get mining fatigue for so long, and the guardian could be on cool down when it makes its rounds to Dream’s cell, also resulting in him not getting mining fatigue
Awesamdude gives Dream another clock when he burns it. If dream says he burned his chest but secretly hid it in the chute, then Awesamdude might give him another chest, and if Dream repeats this process throughout a period of time, he might have hope of building up the chute and breaking the bed.
@@kaizeremperaiga1807 well basically, they made sure that each elder guardian aren't in sync when it comes to check a player. They are not synch on the minute of free effects, therefore a few seconds, a elder detect you. Drink milk? Well you came to the moment another elder check. Etc.
The Pandora's Box myth is actually a Greek Myth a box that is a box that is gifted to someone, and is told not to open it. They open it after trying to resist, and it releases all the evil that is in the world, (Likely Dream) but there is something still left in the box, which is hope. It's a common misconception since when you look up Pandora's Box on google that description is the first thing that comes up.
It is called a Pandora’s Pithos. It wad a jar given by the greek gods to Pandora. Inside the box, or jar, there was hope. The gods said that there was a great gift inside the box, but really in the box it would bring sickness and death.
1:30 what about throwing an ender perl into unloaded chunk and then asking for someone to load it when you are in prison? it should not dissappear after your death when it's unloaded
At the “Free Movement” part, it won’t really work. Yes, the guards will notice Dream constantly logging in and off, and as you said, the guards won’t be able to get there in time. The last part is wrong. Since it took so long to create the prison, they’ve probably even thought of every scenario that could happen. So, the guards probably have fire resistance potions allowing them to get to the cell in a matter of a few seconds. As well, previously said when Bad was visiting Dream, Dream said he has already tried escaping. Thinking about this beforehand, the guards have probably thought about Dream possibly trying to punch them off the platform when they’re going to his cell. So, the guards are probably stacked up with fire resistance and pearls causing this plan to fail immediately.
it won't take that much. He could team up with technoblade. technoblade is gonna distract the guard while Dream is gonna escape. Even if the guard went for dream, Techno could just enter the vault without any troubles. because everyone would be too busy

@@jakoblent4694 i think dream was trying to convince them that he only has one cannon life left over so that they think they have the upper hand but yeah considering wilburs reddit post he def has wayyyy more then 3 lives
Well theres definetely a difference between dying/killing for th e effect of the moment and dying/killing for lore. If tommy's and tubbo's deaths during each festival counted then they wouldve been dead long ago So i think that if dream died to escape the prison it wouldnt be counted as a "canon death"
How about after he makes the infinite water source he places water quickly onto the lave making an obsidian barrier. this will prevent AwesamDude from coming into the cell and he can escape with all the time in the world
and i think the pandora vault is a refrence to "doctor who" where the main character gets trapped in there by all of his enemies, (obviously doctor who is refrencing the greek box aswell)
But is dream kills himself by breaking out of the prison that will be canon and dream would have no more lives and would turn into ghost dream or gream that's why the script made tommy kill dream twice to put pressure on "canon dream" think about because im dumb
The finicky things about canon lives are their fluidity and how they don't apply evenly towards lore events, for example, during the many wars that have taken place in the server, a crap ton of people have died (usually to technoblade) and pretty much all of them aren't considered canon deaths, these are usually only counted if the deaths are significant to the storyline (ie the ambush in the final control room in the war for lmanburgian independance, or wilburs final death with the explosion of lmanburg (first one)). What I'm trying to get at is the fact that dream dying in order to escape will probably not be considered a canon death as not only does it not fit the precedent for dramatic flair associated with canon deaths mentioned above, it also (probably) doesn't fall in the category of plot progression displayed by the canon deaths that have happened before (basically dream dying trying to escape does not really progress or flesh out the narrative in any way like most canon deaths do) and even if it did count, wilbur soot (one of the former writers of the script) stated himself dreams lives are simply unknown, and different from all other players in this intricate server. Sorry if this doesn't make much sense cuz I kinda rushed it, but hope it helps!
theres a very good chance the prison already has the regen walls outside of the housing of the main cell, its a very large building so it definitly has the space. Also, about the effects, you first forgot to mention they have multiple gaurdians. But more importantly, tommy uses optifine, so the effects not showing is likely due to that seeing as you can turn off specific particle effects
The thing is that you see Dream get particles later on, Tommy doesn’t change any settings, and Tommy also has particles when Dream doesn’t. There are multiple elder guardians but I’m assuming that they’re spread out to give the effect across the whole prison
If you’re talking about the weird Dream not getting the effect thing, I’m not sure. It’s clear that they do have elder guardians around the prison, since there are times where you’re close enough to hear the sounds they make, but it seems like there isn’t any within the range of the cell. Whenever Dream gets the effect without Tommy hearing anything, it’s probably a command block, like what happens with Tommy.
It is, the elder guardians do actually apply their effects sometimes, but we see Tommy receive mining fatigue way before he gets even close to the prison, so it’s safe to assume command blocks are being used.
@@msaa1125 If you’re talking abt when tommy visited him, that wasn’t a canon death. But if it is written into the script of influences a major plot point, then it is a canonical death.
I don’t think he’ll be able to die without someone killing him, or visiting him. Remember that then the netherite walls exist. You won’t be able to get out without the walls going down.
Problem Solved. When they feed Dream they might put the wall down. Dream could easily jump into the lava and die. If when they feed him they don’t put the wall down, when a visitor comes Dream can also simply jump into the lava. As seen in Tommy’s stream.
@@ZachWasabi there’s a problem with that, when they feed dream. Sam will be there to stop dream, etc. When Tommy’s there, could be the same thing. Logging in and out over and over won’t work if there’s someone else in the cage that doesn’t affiliate with dream. Or if someone’s on dream’s side and they allow dream to do it, Sam will just lock them both up. So no, not a problem solved.
