You can definitely hitchhike over the seas! Years ago I got a lift from Bali to Darwin, the best adventure of my life to this day. There is also a book, written by an Italian guy, who travelled around the world this way 😀
Recent videos have been quality. So glad you've broken out of the childish over night challenges and security chases others can't seem to let go of. You were made for this adventure angle.
Hitchhiking over the sea is actually quite common. Thousands of backpackers travel to the canary islands each year in fall to try and catch a hitch on a sailboat to the caribbean.
I lost it when you arrived in 'Cowes' only for it to be East Cowes! Weirdly enough, the old floating bridge is actually in the shot from Portsmouth Harbour, the little vessel with Hempel on it. Glad to see you finally experience The Island, and Cowes especially, Harry!
Crewing on sail regattas like this is a great way to learn how to sail and gain experience. You also find a foothold in the community, making it easier to find more opportunities. You can then find crew opportunities on sailing yachts over the oceans and visit amazing places.
I don't know why I wasn't recommended this video sooner, but I swear there isn't any other content on youtube that is as "feel good" as harry's. 10/10 video man
The coincidence of you getting to the IOW during Cowes week is amazing! My family used to go there for a holiday each year, none of us sailed or owned a boat, but it makes the island's atmosphere brilliant. I think the last time I went was when I was 15, and we had people coming up to me and my friend trying to recruit us of boat racing/sailing... So if you ever want to travel on a boat for free, that's the best time to do it 😂

Yo couple of things night scape the audio when you do the out of frame shots only plays through left speaker/ear the quality is limited to 360 p on windows chrome (multiple solutions probably on my end) anyways great video super dope man!
