Honestly the hardest part of the challenge is actually turning off ABS. You pretty much lose 50% of your braking power and have to brake early Also any challenge suggestions? Let me know and please suggest reasonable and challenging ones, not impossible ones.
vehicules dont have equal performance lmao, at the same lvl (920 for hc for example) u will loose something near 6 seconds in grand race between the best and the worst hypercar (hypercar part only and assuming u dont crash and u do a perfect run) @@jamesbluebear1441
Ever since i started the game, I only have ABS turned on(It's the only setting i have turned on in every racing game i play if the option is there). TCS is definitely needed for the RWD cars. It can be frustrating, but also rewarding.
I used to leave the difficulty up high so I can triple my XP and get the "American Legend" gold title faster but after I got it i just switched back to Intermediate diff because like.... i'm already fighting 27 players... why should i be fighting my own car as well? 😅
I was top 100 drifters in forza horizon 4 with keyboard only, and im gc in rocket league aswell, it only depends on what u play most and you get used to it, i win against my Controller friends all the time, be it in forza horizon or motorsport or Rocketleague I even made one of my friends quit NFS unbound cuz i was always 30sec or more ahead and he thought he sucks The input doesnt matter if u know how to play racing games, for example theres a trackmania pro player called granady, hes one of the best (Top 50 ish world) and consistent players and he plays with steering wheel
I admit I'm a noob, first time the crew also, but how do you get so much grip with your vehicles? I noticed some cars have better grip than others but still.. is it the tires? Because when buying a car or changing tires, I cannot see which car or tire has better grip (in nfs it's obvious). Or is it the settings? I juste have front and rear grip set to 100%. Played a little bit with the settings but that wasn't fruitfull..
Grand Races are fully upgraded and same for everyone by default. For normal usage though you will have to fully upgrade your car, don't be afraid to use Assists. Also some cars have way more grip over others.

I noticed that with many cars you top out your max gear. Can you not tune the gears in this game? Also, why does it sometimes flicker between second and first in the scoreboard while you are clearly in second?

I don't know that assists on is not only easier but also faster in The Crew Motorfest. That's a big difference compared to most other games like FH games for instance. An idea for a challenge: Grand race but I have no brakes. Idea is simple: Win a grand race without braking with your brakes(I think engine braking is a thing in this game?If it does exist you are allowed to use that)
I've been playing the game online and single player with assists off simply cause I've played every game with no assists, from Forza to Asseto Corsa. Sure it's faster, hypercars and off-road are a death sentence without TCS, but it's just too alien for me to turn them on lol
In my opinion it's better to have all the assists turned off because the player not gonna learn how to control and maintain that balance between understeer and oversteer if the game is doing the work for the player. (Especially if one trying NOT TO SMACK THE FUCKING WALL)
