No shoes have been recovered since the making of our past episode but that’s ok, we saw a blue-footed boobie! 🥰 Sending you all warm hugs from Baja, xx! Britt and Drew
Trouble in paradise? It is sad that the most beautiful and remotest areas are prime for opportunists - but, that can happen anywhere - even in the states. Just take precautions and enjoy! All in all, looks like you’re having a great time!
I love what Drew said "your mental thoughts not taking you away, so you can enjoy the hike.." thank you for taking me out of my mental thoughts after feeling very drained by everything that happening on the other side of Europe atm (Ukraine). In these times your vids are always so comforting and fun to watch and makes you go on a lil holiday for half an hour. Looking forward to the next Baja episode. Love from The Netherlands
We appreciate know that every video we put out provides a bit of comfort and joy. It’s so sad what is happening in Ukraine right now. Thank you for you sweetness and sending you warmth and love back from Baja ☀️🇲🇽❤️
I love the Blue Footed Booby - what a character! He seemed alert to me, I think he may have been digesting. What a splendiferous place - thank you for inviting us along on your adventure! Warm regards Jennie
@@Mrandmrsadventure I have to say, that's the most detail I've seen in an image of one of those by an amateur photographer/videographer. After that, I'd be embarrassed to show mine. Cheers!
Amazing, and so Beautiful.. Sad that they are going to build houses there. Great video, and Thank you for taking me on another adventure! I needed that!!
Ingenious approach to the refuelling - good for you, sticking with it for a solution! That canyon was SO beautiful, totally worth the trip. I guess bad-ish (disadvantaged?) people are everywhere ... good to stay real about risks.
Loving your adventures. Imagining I’m in the beautiful warm locale. Soaking up the sun, digging my toes in the sand and playing in the water while exploring all of it with you! Thank you!!
You guys are exploring some beautiful spots. Really enjoying this Baja adventure. Such a shame that places like that are allowed be sold and developed. They should be preserved in their natural state for everyone to visit and enjoy. Safe travels lovelies! 🥰
It's so nice to see you showing the desert. It might not be green and lush but it there is so much to look at and discover. The white tree, the water flow in the canyon and the crazy thorns. The blue footed booby was amazing 👏! Beautiful views and great video. Thanks for sharing.
Amazing scenery and you know how to take advantage of all the opportunities to enjoy nature. I worry about all that bare skin so close to all the sharp plants.
You guys are so great to watch, just love young couples that are so adenturous, great informtion. We are heading to baja in the next week. This has helped so much. Safe an fun rest of your journey. ❤
Brilliant footage guys and stunning scenes. Such good tips regarding opprtunist bandits, I would have done exactly what you decided to do and move your van, my mind wouldnt have been able to totally relax and enjoy the experience. Stay safe xxxx
I'm amazed at how remote and beautiful it is there. I've got to go there one day when I get my shoulder and knee fixed. Since, I'm a single female, I'll have to stay close to the Snow Birds as we call them in AZ. Maybe I can find someone to 'got with'. Who knows. Sure enjoying your photos. Ten Cuidado. See ya next time.
Yike those thorns! Going right through flip flops. Would make me worry about my dog!. I had never heard of a blue footed booby. You have thousands the wealth of many locals. I can almost see opportunistic disappearance. They know it won't really hurt you. First world problem in an almost 3rd world area. Wow, that white rimmed pool is gorgeous. What a magnificent hike. Chuckling at the thought of blue poop:)
Glad you got to use the beach and make connections for some security. The glass is truly a find. Left cones of shells behind. Tip water jug into funnel while resting heaviest jug on counter? Thanks for taking us to the Baja
Great blog such beautiful scenery and stunning views, you are such a lovely couple hope to see more of you on your adventures.in the uk the jackery has been given free of charge for people to do a review on them I have seen so many reviews it a wonder they have any left to sell lol ,they are so handy to have I have read some great reports about them .Great blog look forward to the next one till then take care keep safe, john 🌹😂👏🙏🎭🥇💕🤝🤝
😊 Thanks for the warm comment! Jackery has really grown as a company the past few years. They have been a paying sponsor of ours for over two years. The quality of their units in really great. We use ours regularly.
thank you very much for your video. I really like it. I'm trying to learn from that for our "The Dream" tour. this tour goes from germany via poland, lithuania, latvia, russia, kazakhstan, kigisistan, uzbekistan and some more to turkey.
Love your comment about my tangelos!!! I wish I could give you more! I just had a family from Utah drive all the way to my house just to pick our citrus! I sent them home with a truckload! And I still have tons!!! Next time you pass through if it's between Dec-Feb. let me know! That's when it's the best for picking.
That canyon was absolutely stunning, and the underwater world was so beautiful. Hopefully the blue footed boobie survived to live another day but it was sad to see the dead baby dolphin. Nature is so beautiful and cruel at the same time. I think you absolutely did the right thing by moving your van closer to other people, sometimes you just get a gut feeling things do not feel right. You two Take Care & Stay Safe, Hugs UK
Good Morning Brittany and Drew (afternoon over here). After today's walk from the hairdresser in 30℉, 🌨❄ rain/snow and strong wind I'm enjoying this new episode from you on TV - what a treat!! Loved the underwater swim with the different fishes. I think you have a very sensible approach to potential threats and dangers. To trust your instinct and gut feeling goes a long way, after all, you are experienced travelers. Love from Sweden💛💙, Katarina
I keep forgetting that you are newbies to the Baja when you are commenting. Glad it's exciting for you. I'm sure if you weren't youtubers you would be there every winter. We just go off and on now.
Hey guys, great stuff, always fun to go along for the ride. Discretion is the better part of valor they say and discretion applies to leaving your stuff vulnerable to cretins. Recognize that unguarded stuff is considered free game moreso in Latin American culture than in our own but there are opportunistic thieves everywhere you go. I can think of a couple instances where RU-vid travelers have had bikes stolen from the backs of their rigs in the US and gotten away clean. One lucky couple you know were unlucky that way, and the name of the couple who had their e-bikes disappear in a campground escapes me, but just to make the point that you're never fully safe anywhere doing anything. It's just stuff when it's unguarded, but it's people when they're present. So, vigilar... most don't want to take stuff by force, but sneakily and undetected. Having a kind and trustworthy person to keep an eye on your stuff was the ideal solution. Frank and Alex are in their way to Baja, if not already there. I guess you guys are still there. Kinda hard to know most of the time when the video takes were actually shot. Sometimes it's within the week and other times it's two or three weeks till it's released, then however long before we can watch. This we watched a couple evenings ago but I'm just now coming back to say hi, and blessings!
We don’t fly with our Jackery but they ship to Europe! And we are awaiting a call with Trova, the company organizing the trip… we are hesitant to say but we anticipate that it may need to be rescheduled due to the current travel restrictions for Indonesia 🙏
I think you are right that the rock drawings you saw are not ancient, but there ARE some real very old cave paintings near Loreto. I'm not sure if they are still available to visit as a hurricane a few years back flooded the area and they were closed up for a while and I'm not sure what their current status is. We went to see them years ago and they were quite spectacular and I remember the road there was VERY bumpy (even for Baja standards). Might be worth looking into for your way back. Next time I'm up at Loreto, I definitely have to check out Mezquite canyon. It looks amazing.
You want amazing adventures !! . Free camping sometime not 💯 save . But always you can pay for safety campgrounds. You can’t have everything. The good thing is that the most of the time Baja is safe
While I am watching your video I am looking outside my window and seeing snow and I froze my nose hairs on my walk home!!! Might be time to do the snowbird thing for sure
@@Mrandmrsadventure The pump only takes up a few inches. It's just rubber tubing with a squeeze ball at one end. Check it out when you get back to the states. You wouldn't have to lift that heavy jug.
That Mesquite Canyon hike is awesome. You guys look familiar. Did I maybe talk to you at the end on 1/18? I had a Jeep parked just before the canyon entrance.
@@Mrandmrsadventure 4 door anvil color Jeep but Oregon plates. I think that was me though. You almost made it to the part of the trail that goes down into the canyon but didn't have a lot of daylight left. Cheers to Baja adventuring.
How do you secure your dirtbike while you hike ? I'd be more worried about that, because it would be so easy to throw in the back of a truck. Who wouldn't want a WR450F in Mexico ? You'd have a long walk back if someone stole your dirtbike.
Did you ever get sick from eating the food in Mexico ? The “trots”.! Do you carry antibiotics with you? And other prescription meds? For the just in case moments!
I have a Bluetti battery last year, but I have not bought solar panels for it yet. I'm wondering if it matters whether I use Bluetti solar panels or a different brand. I would rather shop around and see if maybe Jackery or another similar company have solar panels that are just as good as Bluetti, but possibly cost less money. I don't want to ruin my battery or its shelf life in general if it is not recommended to use another brand of solar panels. Does anyone out there have any tips? I figure it doesn't hurt to ask.
Sorry for the late reply! We find Bluetti's products (and customer service) superior to all... quality and ability to hold up over time. It's not uncommon for birds that rely heavily on eating fish to hunt for food in the same spot year after year. The booby loves feeding on small schools of fish like the ones you were showing while paddle boarding.
plus, seeds might need to be harvested a certain way, and used within a certain time period. then there are the secrets of the best times and ways to plant things, as well.
