Of course we would, but when was the last time a coordinator left a major program to become a head coach, then came back a few years later after getting fired? He isn't going back to LSU, it just doesn't happen.
Unless there's really a name we are confident to get that we believe will make the program better, idk if letting go Coach Aranda and his staff is the right move.. change for the sake of change isn't always a win, but again, doing nothing can be just as the same as a double-edged sword.. that's why I say if the target name we really want is a guarantee get will decide the choice.. I haven't seen too many names yet that give me that confidence.. 🙏
I’d be thrilled if Baylor kept Aranda as your recruiting has fallen thru the floor, further… with 3 losing seasons out of 4, you have a full picture of your future should you decide to keep him. Ok I say that tongue in cheek as I think Baylor can do better and as for the part about not having lost a recruit over NIL… I think that’s simply creative embellishment on the truth.
Many LSU fans think that they want Aranda back. But I'm not one of them. Aranda is a really good defensive coach. And we had a really good defense for the most part. But LSU's incredible offense was our best defense in his last year here. Coach Aranda really had the luxury of knowing that the offense would cover up any defensive flaws during certain games(Ole Miss, Alabama, Texas) that would have resulted in losses for most other teams. But even if we put all of that aside, coach Aranda was just NOT a good recruiter. He will be the first one to tell you that recruiting is not his forte. And even with the NIL deals, recruiting is still the most important part of building a winning college football team.
It wasn't enough talent to win the big12 but for us to have a talent composite as high as we do and suck so bad ... it's coaching. And I'm not defending the composite. We should be top 40 every yr and our current composite is 46th (and dropping) but it's still higher than most.
F. The coach Miranda is such a good coach, but it don't like recruiting college football is not his cup of tea. Then he don't need to be in college coaching if you don't like including because he's not gonna go to have a good dream no matter what if you don't like. To push for recruiting. Then if you don't like recruiting, he's gonna be at the bottom of the conference year after year. If you don't like to recruit
Dave aranda a good coach give him time i remember he coached lsu defense and they played with intensity for him i was hoping he can bring that to us and i dont want a new coach and have to rebuild
Could be worse, Baylor....you could be in year 8 and have a clueless coach and AD that extends him after a 7-6 G5 schedule season after a 4-9 season. If youre asking who im talking about...its BYU. Ive wanted Kalani gone since 2019. The worst thing to happen to BYU was the COVID year, beating up on Sunbelt and CUSA teams. Kalani is worse at receuiting than he is at coaching...and hes the kind of coach that will try a fake punt inside his own 5 yard line, burns a timeout coming out at halftime...etc. he cant manage the clock to save his life, and the poly recruits byu thought they could get arent coming.
Baylor Will never be an elite program they are in a state will Texas and Texas A&M they’re basically the 3rd best program In a state and programs with that position never become powerhouse programs
Absolutely should be time. If Baylor doesn't fire Aranda, then they're content with being just an average at best team every year. The guy lost the team a long time ago.
The way it looks to me when they hide around the as the headcoach. After Matt rule left for the n. F. L. They were just one the big 12 championship off-road Matt rules players have recruits. And ever since then they've gone down Hill. And if you don't like the recruiting aspect of D1 football It's gonna be at the bottom of the big twelve conference year after year
Well well look who finished the regular season at 3-9 or worse guess which team it was the Baylor Bears and the 23 others football team. And Which team did not finished the regular season at 3-9 or worse and finished the regular season at 4 to 6 or more wins it was the Cal golden bears football team and the 100 others football team.
@@evil6.7_ Interesting, this coach is responsible for greatest winning season in Baylor history. Things have been topsy turvy because of the required changes which resulted in loss of senior players. I would give Aranda 2 years to prove.

@patrickboren2211 yeah how come he can't do anything with his own and I'm not Baylor fan I can't just see Amanda is no good he doesmt even sound competitive in his pregames and post games lol the dude says winning isn't everything well I'm sorry to say yes it is in sports and in most things
