I was excited for these. I thought they would be like the miniature models you can get in Japan. But the Japanese ones are way cooler. You get tiny things inside the boxes instead of just an empty box.

Okay I'm gonna have to play devils advocate real quick: The issue with mystery boxes like this is the assumption of even distribution rate rather then random. Think of it like this. You have a ball pit woth 1000 balls and 500 of them are red. Making is a 50/50 chance to get a red ball if they are all together. However, the balls get put into packages of 500. If the distribution of the redballs was even we would get 250 per box. But the balls aren't getting sorted by hand or with keeping the color in mind, they are just drvided into the boxes by random. Now we have a new variable for each box, depending on the distribution. That's kinda what's going on with mysteryboxes like this. Their initial claim isn't wrong or a lie, in totall you do have a certain procentage chance to get a special item. However, what your procentage is in one individual box is as good their guess at it is yours. To actually determine if they are being dishonest about the amount of rares they have in distribution you would need a way bigger sample size.

Many of these would make super cute resin projects! Like the crayola markers or watercolor package set in some cute or just round mold in one layer, topped with a layer of multi-color pours or the droplet pigment that spreads and leaves a cool texture in the resin. The plastic toys in broken boxes can be made into earrings or encased in resin earrings or pendants. I’d do (or watch!) these unboxings just to see a craft challenge using them afterwards. 😁 Those teeny genie boxes, tho… not so much.

I've seen on other channels that just do mystery toy unboxings that they seem to get sent a full set of the mystery toys including rates and ultra rares. It is only when they buy something themselves do they seem to get alot of duplicates and have a hard time finding a full set.

@Master Miners I have live classes until 12;33. 12;33-1;55 is a lunch break. Then 1:55-3:30 we have to do independent work which isn’t live. We have a 45 min break from 10:15-10:55

I’m having flashbacks to 6th grade, learning to play the clarinet, and all the kids trying to suppress their giggles every time the band teacher said "fingering your instrument”. I still wonder if she said it that way so often on purpose because by 7th grade we all looked down on the giggling 6th graders as if they were sooooooo immature since it was a perfectly normal phrase to us by then.

@@Annie_Annie__ Honestly, I was so sheltered and uninterested in those things at that age (I'm ace) that I didn't even know what that word meant except for the band term. You can imagine my surprise when kids teasingly accused me of doing that to myself in middle school. >_> And now as an adult, I'm just like "...??? Why was that an INSULT?!? were they mocking me for NOT knowing?!?"
