Believe me, I've been researching about studies in Germany from the past 2 years since I was an undergraduate student and developing my profile accordingly and have gained a high amount of information on that just by following all German related channels and Facebook groups and asking relatives who are there .So feels good when someone motivates and guides students towards achieving their goals. I'll be more than happy as well to help other students with the information I've acquired.

Hi Anisha. Thanks for your comment. 1. Have you searched for BSc. Biomedical Engineering courses in Germany in English? I don't think there will be many because BSc. is usually offered in German. 2. Bachelors in Germany is usually for 4 years and it will not cost you much if you manage to get into Public university (10000€/year just for accommodation and fooding) but Private will cost you much (20-25000€/year). 3. Studienkolleg is necessary in order to pursue Bachelors in Germany. There are 3 other ways to avoid Studienkolleg and directly get into Bachelors. Hi!! I have couple of queries.. 1. Do you know what are the interview/tests we must undergo to get admitted in the university of Lübeck or HAW Hamburg? 2. What will be the cost of living? How much should we spend per year including college fees, accomodation and food?? 3. How do we avail scholarships? What are the eligibility criteria for DAAD scholarship? 4. What is the tenure for Masters thesis?

1. Please contact program coordinator of the particular course. They will guide you. 2. Expenditure varies from person to person and place to place. But it ranges between 500-1k€/month. 3. There are different scholarships available and every scholarship has different criteria. Mainly your GPA matters. 4. It's usually for 6 months.

Give attention to the credits. If credits and modules match, you can apply. Moreover, feel free to mail the university and ask about the clarification. If they say it's okay to apply, then start your process. All the best.

Germany offers few scholarships for Masters students like Deutschland Stipendium. But usually public universities are without tuition fees. With good UG score, you will get Public Universities. All the best.

I am studying B.E in Biomedical Engineering . Currently , I am in my 4th year ( 7th sem) . I want to apply for masters in Biomedical Engineering in german public universities, which are : RWTH aachen , lübeck , HAW hamburg . Although there are many uni's which offer masters in Biomedical Engineering, but i am interested in the courses offered by the above mentioned uni's . I had some doubts, hope you answer my doubts . 1) what GRE score should i Target ( all uni's require , but score is not mentioned ) ? 2)What type of University exams do they take ? And are they difficult for people with indian background ( although i dont mug up but still ) ? 3) Are giving seminars tough there ( if a person has stage fear and also it is a new country ) ? 4) What is a masters thesis ? Do the professors guide you for making the thesis ? 5) what is the backlog system there ? I have heard that they follow the 3-times-out system .

1. A recommended GRE score should be upward of 315. Mind you, not all Universities will require a GRE. German Universities pay a lot of attention to your academic score. I suggest that you should have a good chance of getting in to a good German University if you have scored at least 67% in your undergraduate studies. 2. Oral, written, MCQs, Presentations and Seminars 3. No they aren't very difficult. There will be your classmates to motivate you. 4. Masters thesis is same as Bachelors thesis. Professors will support you. 5. Yes there is 3-times-out system. That's applicable only for Module exams and not for Studienleistungs. All the best! Please share the channel with your friends.

Hi. I wouldn't suggest you to apply for Masters in Germany with this CGPA. It's better to try for USA, UK, Canada or New Zealand. All the best.

The course was in English. Now the course has shifted from Uni Halle to Hochschule Anhalt.

Hi Ahish. It really depends upon other applicants who have applied with you. If they have better profiles than yours, then probably you won't stand a chance. But you have to understand that almost all the public universities in Germany are renowned. So it really doesn't matter which one you get. Important is getting an admission in Germany. All the best.

Please mail the program coordinator as it is very branch specific question. There are no tuition fees for this program. There is only negligible semester fees.

Hi Davinder. You have chances of getting into Research Universities. I cannot promise that you will get into one of the TU9s but you can try. I always believe that instead of applying for TUs and getting rejected, it's better to apply to other better universities and getting accepted. Most of the masters courses in Germany are in English. But there are also hybrid and German taught courses. You will have to search on daad.de for the courses that suits you.

You need to check the homepage of Hochschule Anhalt who is providing this course now. It's still a biology related field so I think there shouldn't be any problem but still better to ask them. You also need to keep in mind that yours was a pure medicine related course but Biomedical Engineering is an engineering related course. I hope it helps! Do share the channel with your friends 🤝.
