Is it worth it to buy a 2009 GTR in 2023? 

me with $25 in my bank account * lets see if its worth buying a 2009 nissan GTR

Summary: If you keep it stock it’s all good. If you modify it you need the 2012+ for the new transmission.

2009 r35 downshifts and overall exhaust note sound so much better than the newer ones in my opinion

damn you read my mind. i legit typed in that title not expecting any video to show up for the 09 and this was the first vid. hell yeah. i thnk its worth it. they are nissans after all ,but if i had the extra money id opt for something newer (12-16)

Correction. The DBA transmissions hold up well to 750 hp. Your CBA tranny, however, is more fragile.

I hate that the paddles dont move on this model, but i think they move on the newer ones (2020 and up i think) but its a fantastic car!

I won't touch anything older than 2018 (mainly because apple carplay support), however, you've got nicer looking bumper, upgraded trans, more power, updated dash

I saw 2009 for $64k , it's very clean and low mileage , I'm thinking about trading my car for it or Hellcat.
