Is It Worth Upgrading Your BMX Frame? 

I got a Mirraco Edit 2013 used bike for my son. We started to fix it (we changed everything except frame, fork and handlebar). While we done this i kinda got the urge for a bike myself, so we could ride together. I bought a Subrosa Tiro L - i know, High Ten steal - but am 46 and my goal is to make a bunny hop, thats it - rest of the crazyness is for my kid to do. However i changed some things right away - new wheels. I went for double wall front and back. New sprocket 28T instead of 25T. I got the 2022 Subrosa Tiro for a crazy deal, $278

I thought this would b a no brainer…if it’s needed. U just take all the custom parts and upgrades u have on ur old bike and switch them over. So technically ur new bike shld be better than a bike that costs the same as the frame. Also with the upgrades u have on it would even mostly put the bike in another rider level bracket. That’s what the whole point of getting a new frame is right. Ur going bigger faster and harder so u need something that can handle it.

350 to 400 got you a top of the line mongoose or GT back in the day. Now you need 1500 bucks to buy a flagship bike

Hey so I'm really thinking about getting a new frame. I'm currently rocking the fly savannah 20.60 TT. And I'm thinking about going back to a 20.75. do you think that would make a big difference or nah? Also, another reason I want to change frames is because of the head tube. I got R25 forks 180mm steer tube. That's really high. Compared to the 4.45 headtube on the frame. I had to use 30mm of spacers to make up for it. More spacers than it came with the odyssey conical headset. Should I get a new frame like the darkwave to make up for the headtube and go back to a 20.75. do you think I'd be worth it? Also the CS on my bike is 13. The darkwave is 13.25-13.5. does this make a big difference? I usually ride street but I also like to give girls rides on my bike and the longer CS would help to not get their foot caught on mine right? Maybe even get shorter cranks.. I'm rocking a 170mm but maybe I should go to 165mm to make up for the space in between cranks and pegs? A lot to think about and a lot that's going on my mind. If you could help me out I'd be thankful

so i have had this bike since i was a bit younger its and 18” bike if i put a 20” fork on it would it be exactly the same as a 20” bike? if that makes sense
