Secretly? Junk is in a constant state of “buff him he’s crazy but nerf him he’s still good” because of how oppressive he can be just as crowd control. As a OW1-2 Junkrat main, I can also say he’s undoubtedly the most fun hero to play as or with and the most annoying hero to against.
@@manuelhuttner6362yeah after season 9 and until the health changes for most movement characters he was pretty shit but he’s gotten much better and in my opinion (as a mid plat junk main) he’s in a pretty god spot right now because, as funny as it would be, I don’t want junk to be meta cause the people that already hate him will be whining forever
@@atlas3556 true but when I think of tank buster I usually think of reaper. If I were to put junkrat first in any category it would probably be crowd control just cause the ricochet can catch people off guard. Plus reaper can tank bust tanks like dva and zarya and junk usually struggles against those two
From a junkrat player, this has to be the funniest video I have seen in a while. The traps OMFG, I was wheezing so hard LMAO. The ball just keep falling on the same spot, I can't xD
@@o_Kishi I think he’s easy to hit, just a struggle to headshot because you can’t use the normal aim style. Slight adjustment because you miss if you aim at (usual)head level with him
@@lukastrojak4566 very simple. Most people with good aim don’t flick often unless necessary. They usually try to stay head level. This keeps your aim consistent. Junkrat’s hitbox is very different. His head is chest level, specifically a small circle in the center of his chest. Basically you have to aim for his body to hit his head, rather than aim at head level like most characters.
Even when they add damage falloff to mine, even when they patch out droptire, even when they buff everyone’s health just enough that he can’t combo, Junk is the only reason I keep coming back to this game
Junkrat is like your "dumb" character type in a cartoon who doesn't have a single thought but can crack a masterplan and leave everyone with their jaws on the floor
@@Nfliswwe yeah but I’m 90% I got suspended because I play junkrat, sooooo (it said I got suspended because of inappropriate communication even though I never talk in chat)
If pocketing Tree for the past few years has taught me anything, it's that no one wants a boosted Junkrat in their game, he's too insane with airshots on squishies lmao.
I love playing Junkrat. He can be very oppressive, but he has a few requirements, sorta like widow does. I feel like nothing is more satisfying in OW than hitting a midair shot as Junkrat.
Playing junk on defence Numbani is soo fun on first point, placing a trap at the right highground door, spamming the main then someone tries to get you and they get trapped, I've gone games with zero deaths doing that in qp
the play of the game algorithm thing is set so that ultimates count for less than a headshot kill, headshots or double kills from supports, and anything that happens within 1 or 2 mins of the round ending that doesn't involve a super, I believe it also prioritises people with lower MMR doing something that involves beating someone with a higher MMR or hasn't gotten a play for X many games its really dumb so you end up with some odd bapties getting a kill before the clip starts then just walking about for the rest of the time doing F all because they got that single headshot in the last 10 seconds before the point capped, but a quintuple kill with an ult that wins the game or a tank managing to get a team kill against the odds at the beginning of the match doesnt get it -.-
what ive learned as a controller junk main is that pc players dont have a ton of junkrat experience of going against him since he dosent require to much aim also for some reason when i did vs pc on controller they seem to group up more? its an interesting experience
He is only good right now because after the Knockback resistance nerf, my tanks have been getting bounced around by the Conc mines off almost constantly. The CC is ridiculous
When I play Blizzard World defense.. I stand behind the statue in the middle of the 1st choke and spam grenades. and people just. keep. walking into them.
i like to use these kinds of videos from good player's to help me as a junkrat main whos new to overwatch (only started like more then halfway through this season :D) and i think im doing pretty good and have a lot of the same moves as flats except i hesitate a lot more to use my ult, idk why sometimes i just dont use it, i get so scared im gonna let down my team if i get no one yk ? XD i also am not very aware of my surroundings, does anyone have tips for that kind of stuff?
Use traps all the time unless there's already one right next to you, you'll think there's no way anyone will fall for it... But they will, all the time. With the ultimate just try to keep it out of enemy Line of sight if it's gonna go a distance, or hail Mary and go straight at them. It works sometimes and you'll get a solid 3k
Junkrat players are either trash cans or absolute gods, theres no in between. Running into a good junk player is terrifying. Dude just flies through the air like batman and double taps you
I just don't know how to play Orisa because 1. I can't play Overwatch But 2. Even if I was cracked, the Orisa experience is so lame I avoid playing her all the time, my entire Overwatch playing time.
Secretly? As a tank and as a support I can say he’s pretty much constantly putting others in the same state of stress and urgency as a man who is on the highway and needs to poop right absolutely now.
Hot take: Junkrat has always been good. He's just outclassed by consistent DPS. It's the same with a character like Hanzo. Hanzo is forever doomed to be a worse Widowmaker, but if you can play him he's very strong. Also fun fact: Hanzo has the smallest Projectiles in the game. Even Kiriko's Kunai are bigger.
“I have no idea what I’m doing… but I’m doing it very well” Junkrat in a nutshell lol. Just lob grenades over walls from the back line toward where enemies are coming from. Watch the kills rack up
Same as Moira, people think they are both bad but in reality they are both very strong. Moira especially has good damage with aimlock, good healing and she is very mobile and easy to survive as. High players say she is decent because she has no utility but nobody can deny how strong she is.
idk if hes secretly good, but as a junkrat hater I decided to ironically get good with him after never really playing him and hes FUN. Especially if you dont subscribe to the super spammy playstyle that I usually face which is why I hate junk players. If you get active and look for asassinations hes fun to play, spam only when you really need to. Legit the only fun I ever have in this game anymore is saying F it, and grinding a random new hero for 20+ hrs until I get good with them. I have a general idea on how to play every hero but im only really good at like 4-5 in each role.
