So this is Ep. 04 of my Other Side Of Kashmir Ride on my KTM 390 Adventure.
We started our day from Dawar and reached Baduab at around 9pm..

Gurez's most formidable peak is Habba Khatoon around which quaint legends abound. This pyramid shaped peak has been named after famous Kashmiri poetess Habba Khatoon. She was a beautiful & intelligent damsel from Saffron village "Pampore". Zoon (which means Moon in English) was Habba Khatoons earlier name. She was daughter of a peasant who got her married to an illiterate peasant boy (Habba)
The Tulail Valley is a Himalayan sub-valley of Gurez in the union territory of Jammu and Kashmir in India. The Valley lies 120 kilometres northeast of Bandipora and 200 kilometres from Srinagar the capital of Jammu and Kashmir. Tulail Valley lies immediate east of the Gurez Valley.

Anikt one such incident happened to me also en-route hanley on the loma bridge .....as i was cleaning my bikes chain i was offered a tea from a army group leader .... of that area .... such wonderful gesture ...... truly indian army knows whom to treat (I mean in literal terms :-P)...... Our india is truly blessed .... i will ride here someday .... just make a video of how to get the permission and from where.

River Kishan Ganga is also known as Neelum River. Neelmath Puran was written on the banks of Neelum River. Sharda Peeth, the seat of learning and a very sacred place of Kashmiris and an old University is located on the other side of the Neelum River in Pakistan Occupied Kashmir.

This is great I went to Kashmir in1979 when I was 10 years old just after the India-Pakistan war and peace treaty and went to tent where Indira and Yaya khan signed the peace treaty in the a month after that after thanks I know most of the area as i went to my Uncle who was the commanding officer there during the war and after that for two years, it was cold and snow then, thanks. loved it thanks man,great work.
