In Russia and other former Soviet countries, hospitality is an essential part of the culture. Guests are welcomed warmly and respectfully, often with a traditional offering of bread and salt and lavish feasts featuring traditional dishes. Tea ceremonies and the making of toasts are important elements of hosting guests. Each region has its unique customs, such as inviting guests to a banya (sauna) in Russia or serving plov in Uzbekistan, but everywhere guests are given special attention and care, reflecting respect and cordiality.
And Kazakhs are known for their warm hospitality. Guests are always greeted with respect and care. It’s customary for hosts to offer a bowl of kumis (a traditional drink made from mare’s milk) or tea. And what exactly you can see here called dastarkhan: a traditional spread laid out for guests. The dastarkhan is always abundant with various dishes, including baursak (fried dough), meat dishes, and sweets.
USA? You mean the country which puts sanctions and tries to starve people? Learn how to treat people better. You get no love back go eat McDonald’s or something
The former CCCP states, the 'stans' are unbelievably beautiful places, all of them (and Russia too). Once I would love to visit them all, wonderful landscapes, simple lifestyle, great people! Cheers from Hungary!
And it didn't really show all of it. I spent some part of my childhood in Burabai (there is a wiki page about it) in USSR times, and the place has high mountains, beautiful lakes and rivers and huge forests. Golden childhood!
IMPRESSIVE ... I am truly blown away by the latest video! The content is not only beautiful and solid, but it also exudes a deep sensibility that resonates with the audience. The editing is wonderfully done, weaving each element together seamlessly. The music selection is spectacular, adding an emotional depth that elevates the entire experience. To Eli, your improvement is remarkable, and this time you’ve truly outdone yourself. Your courage to push boundaries and create something so impactful is inspiring. Keep up the incredible work! Greetings from Brazil.
Wonderfull. The music acompanying the Charyn Canyon shots gave me chills. Thank you for sharing your travels and showing us these beautiful, fascinating places. Greetings from North Scotland UK.
Agree. Eli has many talents, one of which is adding the right music to the video. Not just that but the video editing is so impressive. The scream and echo in the canyon cut to an overhead shot brilliantly. From southern England, UK :) BTW I'd love to see Eli do a video tour of the northern Scotland, if things ever change.
@@rogink Yes, its a bit bizaire to imagine our familiar people and places might seem as otherworldly to Elli as some of the people and places she shows in her videos are to us. Things will change hopefully for the better in the longterm.. 10 yrs ago, 10 yrs in the future were/will be such different places. Elli is making the best of the present.
@@andrewsmall7243 I was visiting the West Coast last year and found what I hoped to be an idyllic spot at the top of Loch Lomond. All was quiet, then 15 minutes later loads of coaches turned up, full of Indian tourists. They got on cruise boats pumping out Bollywood music. In turns I was annoyed and amused. No doubt to locals this could seem the same, although of course it keeps local businesses going. But then it's much the same for those Spanish islands where folk are protesting against over-tourism. What a Russian RU-vidr would make of it is anyone's guess!
Elina, thank your drone for all these splendid aerial views ! If it wasn't for the atmospheric layer, the water, Elina and her guide, you'd think we were on Mars ! 🏔👌
@@cristinaponomar1854 thank you so much for loving my country. 😊 I love Russia and like to travel in there. Also hope to visit Spain soon. Have a good day!!
@@ElifromRussia Eli, how do you film the car from the outside ? do you pilot the drone while in the car ? You are an excellent photographer! Beautiful images, excellent video! :)

I've always felt that when a travel youtube channel gets big enough the haters try and take you down a peg. Don't listen and take the negativity as a compliment to your success. Enjoyed the video as always.
Wow! This is planet Mars!l Kazakistan is really worth a visit! A country which has so many different and awesome landscapes. Amazing video. Thank you very much Eli💕🪻⚘️🌷
Eli, I love your videos! You are such a happy, interesting and pleasant young woman. Your videos have a great production quality. I found your channel once I met my fiancé from Taganrog, Russia in 2021. I watched so many of your videos to prepare me for my 2 week vacation to Sochi to meet my Russian love. Thank you for helping to prepare me for this trip. You are a lovely, young lady. God bless you, Eli! 😇
Eli, hello from Croatia. I just found your channel by accident, through this Kazakh vlog and Kazakhstan I know because of Dimash Qudaibergen. I traveled to Dimash's concert in Almaty 25.09.2022. It was a long, but unforgettable trip and concert. Now I will watch your other videos, they are very educational, informative, very interesting, presented in a smart and cool way. And you are very intelligent, calm, brave , sincere, not dramatic, very likable person with a cool sense of humor 😊 Great job Eli ❤️
Traveling all these places and experienceing all the cultures makes you more rich than the wealthiest (money) person on our planet. Thank you very much for taking us along with you.
When did state take care care about you content for forigners you have other technological possibilities and the support of a team of propaganda professionals 😮
thank you, enjoying the beautiful scenery, amazing camera work, really professional, a pleasure to watch! And what a wild and beautiful country, with kind people
Mangystau has landscape of the Mars. It is extremely hot in summer. No water. No people around... as Kazakhstan is empty comparing yo other countries, only 2O million people.
In late December of 1981 while traveling cross country from Chicago to L.A., I stopped to see the Grand Canyon and it took my breath away. I stayed for three hours just taking it all in. This video was one of your best, Elina...every year you get better at your craft. That canyon was smaller but more accessible, e.g., going down to the water. Beautiful nature...and food...lol.
@@wackyruss This was the German naming, we write this country like in my comment. I mixed it up, I do not need the English expression a lot and was a bit lazy.
