I’ve always thought if Kendrick were to drop an album this year, it would be on 8/30. Post battle he’s occupied every major holiday since. 8/30 leads into Labor Day weekend and it’s around the Grammy submission deadline. Honestly, I wouldn’t mind if he didn’t drop at all. He was a part of one of the biggest hip hop moments of all time. If I were him, I’d let that continue to resonate especially with football season around the corner. I’m sure Not Like Us will be played in every stadium across America.

I never thought Kendrick popped out to give new music he was just showing he was the better rapper compared to Drake and people think he’s supposed to become the new Drake and that’s not the case I thought this was a skill match and everybody attached so many other labels to it

I have maintained the feeling that we won’t get a Kendrick Lamar album. Buuut Kendrick has helped write a lot of Baby Keem music. And it’s been a few years since his last project. I think we’re going to get the Keem album sooner than Kendrick.

I think that historically, most of Kendrick's albums drop between late March and early May. Cole is supposed to be dropping an album any time now and Drake is doing features like a madman plus he's apparently on an upcoming album with PND... So, yeah. The move for Kendrick is to let the boys battle it out on sns and on the charts so he can enjoy his rollout in peace!

Kendrick is not going to waste this opportunity. I’m for sure Drake got his creative juices GUSHING. If not this year. It will be in the first half of next year. He will probably give the people a chance to count him out, only for him to take the time he needs to craft what I think might be a perfect album and truly be crowned King. He has more eyes on him than ever. So I think it would be more “pop” or tailored to the masses. Or at least have a global perspective. Kendrick planned this battle. He is such a visionary Im SURE he planned his next moved. He probably has been working on this next album for the last few years.
