If they don't detox them first, at least a 7 to 10 day detox . I'm talking about a medically detox. They can't go straight to rehab and stay through a detox.

Hey I'm Syn. I was a bartender at Chuckles Bar (corner of clearfield & frankford) for 20 years. Managed the bar, take out, apartments and rooms for 3 years. I left Chuckles 6 years ago when I lost my oldest son to the fentynal epidemic. Lived on Frankford Ave for years. Miss the old neighborhood and people but definitely don't miss the crime or drugs. Kensington is a crazy place. Thanks for the videos. I like seeing the old neighborhood.

My sister was diagnosed with ALS and died 8 months after her diagnosis. She fought to live. It’s so hard to watch so many young people throw their lives away with drugs when so many people are fighting terminal illnesses.

Amber was 4 months clean in hospital and she almost died , it’s sad to see her back out there

these folks have either forgot who they are , or they were never told who they are. we are made in the image of God. fearfully and wonderfully made. it happens to people and it has happened to me , I forget who I am from time to time, I have to remind myself of who I am in Christ. the enemy comes to destroy and he will lie and distract us from WHO WE ARE.. as the day nears for the KINGS return the battle for our minds will intensify. the power of life and death is in the tongue..I hope that they find the path that will bring them back to the knowledge of who they are.....pray for them

It’s as easy and/or as hard as you make it. I have been clean since 1996. I was an addict of multiple drugs thru the late 70’s, 80’s & 90’s. It was not easy! But life is not easy. And now, since the internet and then RU-vid, I can visually see what is waiting for me if I decide to slip up! I didn’t have the vast knowledge and visual representation of what my life could look like if I decide to let my guard down. Like folks do now. The drugs nowadays are nasty, deadly and polluted. Remember, we have free will and choices. NOTHING, AND I MEAN NOTHING IS BETTER THAN BEING CLEAN. NOTHING! ❤❤❤

So my question is I hear they just moved. Where do you want the city to do. The city didn't take them down there. Nor did they assist with their addiction. The city government should take them Where. I'm from North Philly. 12th and Susquehanna. In the black area what goes on in Kensington in the black area it would Bea crime. Kensington its called a illness. Born and raised in North Philly. And people would be in jail if that happen the majority black area of North Philly. North Philly do not consider Kensington or Frankford part of North Philly. If an individual doesn't want treatment what do you want the city government to do? I'm curious. It's a choice a person makes to get high and to continue living in addiction is also a choice. If the Police lock them up then that would be a problem.

No one has to go to rehab to get clean. So dont blame it on the rehab folks. Old school you stayed home and just did it. Stayed away from other addicts too. If you are willing to go to any lenhths to use....you have to be willing to go to any lengths to get clean. There are enough people in recovery that have kicked can help a addict that wants sobriety. People cant blame programs that goverment offers.

Let's hope they got into rehabs and homeless shelters. They need to help them, not just kick them out to move somewhere else. Some of them want help but feel hopelless. I am a recovered addict and had help otherwise I would be one of them now. It is soo sad and you have no idea how horrible addiction is.

These people never really hit rock bottom as long as they are fed, given clothes, haircuts , showers and money from the government. Take that away and more may take the help offered. Sorry to be so cruel but that is what it would take to clean up this and a lot of the homelessness in these cities.
