No hes being honest, in the current meta if your weapon is not broken then its not viable, the Kyrswynter is balanced in a good way, making it just not good compared to the other options right now.

Maybe the weapon could use a slight crit cd reduction. But I think the crits are solid, they just have to be used as follow ups, not neutrals. Ice does have combo mantras like ice lance, crystal impale, heavy gb potential, etc.

I think the crit cd doesnt matter cus literally some verse 1/start of verse 2 weapons have horrible crits (stormeye crypt blade) note : its not that horrible but you need skills to use them not like pyre keeper

NOT THE TOO MANY TRUMPETS JUMPSCARE it's balanced i like the weapon :] fits the game a lot more than the green glowing stick they released a couple months ago both Pleeksty's Inferno and Deepspindle have been nice imo (even though deepspindle is a little overtuned... idk how hard the nerfs might've hit it) i hope they keep these kind of leggy weapons coming

to save points, but given it’s 50 med, i recommend just spending another 25 for alloyed trident spear with obfuscation which is 100x better

basic spear crit have a 4 second cooldown and its insanely abusable and is a jack of all trade, work with any build and is good under any situation winter on the other hand allows more mixups with the crit options alongside with a decent rollcatcher with a downside of very high windup and cooldown, the crit is also quite obvious id say TSS is better since low cooldown + enchant + base spear crit is just too good Nogo says winter crit is broken, and that is simply because its an aoe attack, unparryable, does a lot of damage, hyperarmor mid animation and more mixup options but really this aint better than tss
