Laurence Fishburne Joined the MCU as Dr. Bill Foster in Ant-Man 2 aka Ant-Man & The Wasp In 2018. His character is an African-American scientist who helped Hank Pym work on Pym particles in a project called GOLIATH back in the day. It looked promising that he would suit up as the character Goliath in a future Ant-Man film. That time is now here and Fishburne is nowhere to be seen. This video talks about what happened. It is also a review of Laurence aka Larry Fishburnes incredible career lasting over 50 years in hollywood.

Am I crazy or is Laurences portrayal of Morpheus Oscar worthy. It's been damn near 20 years, and it gives me chills EVERYTIME.

You are not crazy he is that good as Morpheus. Back in that era Hollywood was too arrogant and snooty to recognize acting greatness in Sci fi or comic book movies but that changed in 2019 when Black Panther was nominated for best picture and in 2020 when the Joker won best actor. So things have changed for the better in this regard.

Here me out. I think they should to a Hank Pym and Janet prequel, with Bill Foster as a Co star. Sadly I don't think they will/should use deaging, but I want to see the character at its peak.

You know thats a Good idea with a project showing Hank and Janet and Bill in a prequel played by Younger actors. A period superhero prequel and get to see Bill go full Goliath.. What decade would it happen 60s 70s or 80s?

I grew up with this young man. Trivia: Laurence Fishburne was actually the first actor cast as Michael in Good Times.

I did not know that. That is an incredible piece of trivia. Not getting the role may have worked out to be the best thing that never happened to him because almost all of the actors on that show got type cast as their roles on the show! Thanks for watching.

I suspect he will pop up again in the MCU when Ghost pops up. Either Thunderbolts or another project

You are probably right. But its disappointing to me because I expected the pay off of seeing him turn into Goliath which I thought was sure to happen in Ant-Man 3. I will still see the film though! Please sub if you haven't already. ru-vid.com

I don't think they had a proper plan for Bills Foster and ghost. Is she out of the Thunderbolts too?

I think you are right about both characters not being setup as well as they should be. And yes i am hearing reports that Ghost is out from the Thunderbolts. I dont think she would be missed though. I didnt find the character compelling. She felt more like a plot device than a functional character

He really doesn't have a part in this film. Unless he was just hanging out with Scott and his family at his house when they get sucked into the quantum realm. it would make no sense for him to even be in the film

Thanks for watching and posting i hope you are right. Its just disappointing that i waited for 5 years for the latest installment of Ant Man and expected to see Laurence Turn into Goliath only to find out that it wont be in the film. I will be there on opening night but i have to admit im kind of disappointed.
