Is it bad to learn too many things at once? 🤔
If you love learning new things, you might have even found yourself frustrated with not being able to concentrate on one topic at a time.

If you forget things you already know, then it's because they are no longer important to you and aren't being used. This is SO true for me. I'm working on learning languages, creative writing, history and reading lots of books...but when I don't feel like one of them, I do another. Either way, I'm doing something more valuable than watching TV or playing some app game.

I think it's great to be passionate about learning many things at once, and it's equally as important to organize your learning as well!

@@chazbruce2913 but, what do you guys mean by organizing? For instance, let's say I've been reading a book for a few days and today I don't wanna read that book, for a period of time. In that case should I switch to another book? And if I should, when should I go back to the book I left incomplete? When I feel like it? Or after a spesific amount of time? Or after I finish the other book?

- Barely learned video editing and made some videos (on the channel) -Dropped hacking/cracking for now -learned photoshop to a high beginner level but don't use it -made a couple little projects with python -started game dev with unity I learned blender before I made the og comment and wanted to do animations, but my laptop is terrible. So I made renders like my pfp. -I recently tried out making electronic music. Unfortunately, I went long periods without doing anything with these skills. Mostly playing video games or focusing on school. Specifically for game dev, I got in because of dani. I also never made any finished games for the above reason and whenever I would think of an idea, I would just think of reasons I couldn't do it or do something else. Plus laggy laptop and I am planning to switch to Godot.

I am learning two things at the same time 1.Graphic design 2.Music making/production Both are very complicated because in graphic design we have to work on so much software like AE, PR, DR, PS, AI And i learnt all the software But in music production you have to play to much instruments and work with thousands of plugins i am feeling like i have lost many years And now i am busy as never happened in my entire life I was a very careless person before 6 month i was spending all time on Instagram, movie and webshows, But believe me from when i started Graphic design its been three months to watch a movie.. But sometimes i feel stuck between two learning skills But in future i want to make self music videos so basically i need the both things what i am learning 😊 and i feel something change inside me 🙂

Im doing the same, though ive already been super into music fo more than ten years so learning to design is just a small task right now. But the thing is, learning design is beckoning me to learn game development, and to do that I have to learn CSS and html. But to do that I have to learn a plethora of terminology. On top of that im learning art, chess, and audio engineering. Fml. Adhd is a gift and curse

learning anything make you more effective at learning everything. Wow. Golden words. I know how to dance, to sing, to write songs, to play guitar, piano, bass and drums. and I speak 4 languages. I've always LOVED learning different things at a time and I've always believed I could. But lately I feel like I wanna learn to do business as well. My friends like, im just wasting my time. Because if I just do business, I'll never gonna be a pop star. I'm kinda convinced actually..... But like you said, if I'm interested in something new I should take advantage of it. yes, I should!!! This video actually reinforced the idea of me learning one more thing in my life!!!! Thank you so much !!!

Could you recommend some studies about this concept? What about the daily limit on learning? How do we know when we are spending too much time and taking in too much stimuli/information in a day? Some activities like doing difficult problems can be tiring for the brain, but what about things like sports, or playing an instrument? Where do we draw the line to be able to continue without burnout?

There's no word "завуть" in Russian. Jonathan probably meant "зовут", which stands for "called" in English. For example, "Его зовут Сергей" in Russian can be translated to English as follows: "They call him Sergei". I'm native Russian speaker and I can speak English just fine.

I LOVE this approach, thank you. Too many times I hear people say you need to focus on just one thing, when I have multiple interest! My problem is just finishing things. I do need to work on that and I’m still figuring out what direction I want to go in but I don’t like the idea of just doing one thing all the time. It just doesn’t resonate with me.

This is a super helpful tip. I love to learn new things at the same time. I used to doubt if I should first finish what I started. But then I would not be as motivated as much as learning multiple new things at the same time. I will surely promote super learner academy and the course. I have enrolled in that too, btw. Thanks again

This is my first time watching one of your videos. It was excellent, thank you. One of the reasons I quit school was because I realized what a waste of time it was. I learned things, but not nearly as much or as useful as the things I do now because I have the time to. I’m much happier than I was as well. I got a little discouraged today, however, because I tend to want to learn multiple subjects around the same time, and then have the problem of never finishing what I started. I lose interest quickly. In turn I thought it was “bad” to want to study several subjects at once, but your video taught me that it’s not necessarily bad because if I force myself to study the same thing over and over , then I won’t actually learn anything. I just need to do what I’m feeling inspired for in that moment, and I believe that eventually I will come back to these subjects I laid down and continue those.

F it. I will learn 8 programs/apps at once, one tutorial a day for each. If I focus on only one thing I get so bored. I'm not into mastering too, just more of learning basics person & if I go with one specific thing, will probably just end up scrolling through social networks or playing a game cause can't focus for so long on single stuff.

I feel this way with wanting to learn Japanese and drawing. But I made up my mind to put 100% focus on Japanese first and then pick drawing back up. It wouldn't be so bad since I know the exact set of drawing skills needed and the common pitfalls.

If you chronically cannot follow through and finish things, it may be time to take a look aat that. But if you bounce around and enjoy what you learn without dropping the ball on projects I think that sounds perfect for your style!

The human brain isn't built to learn one thing at a time. Even subconsciously you are picking up things. If your brain had to wait to learn one thing first before another, you'd be so behind time in knowledge.
