NYC's new FREE park on the water just opened today! It is called Little Island and has been in the making for years. Join Bella and me as we explore if this park is worth visiting or not.

Great video, Sarah! I got to visit on Wednesday for their employee party (my boyfriend works there) and it was SO nice. Definitely go back and check it out at sunset if you get a chance, it's beautiful. 🙂

Great video. It looks like a nice place to get back outside after the long shutdown. That said, it's my worst nightmare to have the water view blocked. One aspect of tranquility for me is seeing the beautiful water from my home along the Hudson. I'll visit out of curiosity.

We no longer have a mask mandate if you're vaccinated. NYC is great right now!

I think you should go to NYC. Be sure to check out the outer boroughs a bit too. Manhattan is gorgeous and all, but Queens is a foodie's paradise, Brooklyn is trendy, the Bronx has some amazing parks, and Staten Island is Staten Italy

This place cost $260 million. Funded by Barry Diller.

Actually it was $280 million, the balance of $20 million having been contributed by the State and the City. Which to my mind means the State and City now have this wonderful new public amenity and have saved themselves a cool $260 million, which it can instead spend on its other open spaces and parks. But I get the impression that Mr Diller put more than just money into this project. There is a lot of passion behind it, which comes out in the details again and again.
