I agree but im a woman and my man made me do a lot of self reflecting on my bad behaviors and showed me how immature I was in a lot of ways. I think men are more logical and yeah women mature faster but they stop maturing quicker too. So a lot of women have the mind of a 15 year old while men continue to grow in those areas of logic and regulating their emotions. Now don’t get me wrong you have both women and men who just have poor behaviors. But I’m saying this to say due to my man being more logical and men having to regulate their emotions due to societal expectations of them. He taught me that and if it wasn’t for him I wouldn’t be nowhere near as mature, logical, and good at regulating my emotions like I can now. Some of us deserve a chance because it took a lot of trust and following for me to get here. And now I follow his lead 100% and take criticism great because ik he not leading me in the wrong direction he leading me to be a better woman

In my opinion, I think it’s both sides. I think because a good percentage of men didn’t have that male figure in their lives, they didn’t have the tools to be the perfect leader. You have men now learning through trial and error. If that’s the case, you can’t fault men because at least they’re making the effort to lead their woman. As for the other side, women are naturally defiant. It’s in their nature to not take authority quickly. Even if they were raised in a two parent household or not, they still have that natural state. If that’s the case, why criticize men for not leading if you’re not capable to be led? In my opinion, that’s a spoiled brat behavior. Also, women don’t understand about men and respect. Men take respect seriously just like women take their beauty and looks seriously. I say this because if a man is telling you to not do something, wear something etc. and you decide to do it anyway, that’s disrespectful to a man. He’s not telling this because of low self esteem issues, he’s telling you because he’s trying to lead you as his woman because he’s either trying to protect you and/or make you a better person for him. How many stories you hear about men getting hurt, arrested or killed because their woman went out, dressed provocative, another man tried to talk to her and got disrespectful, and the woman expects her man to defend her honor and he gets hurt?

Women expect men to lead them however the majority grew up feeling unwanted in fatherless home. The men who grew up in single mother homes have no value or knowledge in welding authority in a respectful manner because his closest examples of a father were the men his mother dated, via failed relationships. He can only display what he's learned; otherwise he's guessing. It's dangerous to teach a boy growing up that he's a leader without ever giving him a chance to flourish as a follower.
